A Shrine to Lathander

  • ::Work is afoot on a stone structure many a bas relief cover its finely hewn stone walls. The symbols seem mainly to depict the rising sun. Upon the eastern wall a stained glass window resplendent in reds and yellows shows the same image. The dawns light streams through the window each morning to illuminate the room within. The dwarves bearing the heraldry of Peltarch continue their work, overseen by a yellow robed figure who seems overjoyed at the progress. Every fourth day a mounted and armoured knight bearing the colours of The Order of the Divine Shield rides into Norwick, he stops and speaks warmly with the robed figure and the dwarves before inspecting the work and returning north once again, the massive celestial steed that bears him an unusual sight indeed.::

  • ::A blue and golden armoured knight is seen staying at the Shrine for a few days, before leaving. There is a small service of thanksgiving of Lathander’s light, and prayers for renewal are spoken.::

  • ::The new shrine stands ready, and complete. A blue and golden armoured knight is seen with the Priest. They spend much time in deep conversation.::

  • Dwin visits the construction and asks about its progress, and if there is an end in site.

  • A middle-aged, blonde haired, human woman approaches one of the dwarf workers and asks if they know the whereabouts of the priest in charge. She carries a staff with vines growing around it and her hair smells of jasmin.

  • ::The works continue, the dwarven masons of Peltarch working skilfully with the stone structure. The yellow robed figure, blesses each section as it is worked on, speaking prayers and holding vigil over the building works. The blue and gold armoured figures continue to visit regularly, speaking softly with the dwarves and the yellow robed figure::

  • From time to time, Aramuil will wander by and smile at the construction, observing it for a long moment before moving on.

  • The Chancellor visits the construction every morning, and shares a quick word with his kin on their progress.

He seems fascinated by their expertise, and asks their foreman to look at other structures and walls for his opinion, and often a price quote.
