Her innate magic is rarther limited, and she always carrys a sword by her side while wearing chain mail. A strange sight, she is often hopeing to get a chacne to speak with Creg or louis after the lessons_*

  • Louis holds a lecture on usage of spells, starting with cantrips:

_Alright, students. Today, I will begin to teach you about the usage of cantrips. I will give one example of each spell school, the one I consider most usable. Should any of you wish to disagree with my choices, you are free to express your opinion at the end of the lecture, and we can discuss it with the whole class.

I will first start with the schoolless, Universal spells. The obvious choice would be Prestidigitation. Learn to pronounce it correctly, for you will be laughed at if you cannot do such a minor task.

Prestidigitation has a relatively long duration of one hour, and it will allow allow you to do numerous things: lifting up small objects is a favorite among lazy students, of course, none of you are lazy, hm? It can also color, clean or soil objects - reputation does not count as an object. My favourite usage of the spell is it's chilling, warming, and flavoring capabilities, as I cannot quite bring the family chef along on dangerous journeys. Prestidigitation can also create small objects, however these objects look quite crude. Much like goblin dolls.

While this spell seems (and is) very useful, one should take care to not use it too much - every time you use a spell to perform a mundane task, you bring yourself closer to total reliance on magic. I once heard a tale of wizard who ended up using spells such as prestidigitation for all his mudane tasks, and Levitate and the like for moving. In the end, he earned the nickname 'the Obese', and shortly afterwards was found dead.

Do not feel afraid of using the spell, but also, keep it moderated. Before we have a brief break, I'll allow the chance to propose another Universal spell up for discussion. Feel free to speak._

Louis allows a moment to see whether any of the students propose other spells, before giving them a 10 minute break.

  • It seems no children even dare to cross Karl Skovhus, despite him being only 12.

  • Occasionally Gabriella Skovhus escorts little Karl Skovhus into the newly formed school. She is not a mage herself. However, it seems she just looks after her little brother and makes sure there are no "bullies" present to interrupt his learning.

  • Interestingly, Karl Skovhus, the 12 year old son of Matron Mikaela Skovhus, has been seen attending the school. He is always accompanied by a Skovhus agent and seems to be a sharp, keen learner.

  • ::one of the attenders to the lessons is a black robed sorcerer, Attentus::

  • About 8 local children and teenagers, as well as about 15 men between 18 and 20, seeming to come from outside of the city, attend the school at first.
