Norwick Strikes!

_With no attempt at stealth, a large force of Norwick militia and Hold dwarves led personally by Chancellor Dolvak marches south out the gates. An odd pale female dwarf in white and blue vestments marches next to him.
A day later they straggle back in, tired and bloody.
From the talk that gets out, it seems that an attack was made on the old Elf Camp now held by the Tainted Bugbears and Undead of the Hungry One. The attack was joined by the Druid Circle and a force of untainted bugbears, striking from the west.
While the attackers had great success at first, a horde of reinforcements poured out of the Lost City, driving both attackers back.
While all that seems to have been accomplished was to kill warriors on both sides, the Chancellor seems pleased with the result… many whisper that the whole battle was a feint._
