Lightning hits the inn

  • Suddenly in the middle of the night, a short argument can be heard from commons room of Grapevine, like someone being a bit in pain. After a while some voices of struggling can be heard only to turn into commanding words of sharp female voice.

"Thee fool! How thee dare! Now thee areth to kneel!"

_Suddenly, lightnings strike through the windows of commons room and between the smoke and flashes of lightning, a large humanoid figure, apparently having a club in his hand can be seen running out. Seemingly the lightnings are still hitting at him, ignoring anyone and anything else around.

By the door, in middle of the source of the lightning, stands an Aurilian priestess Meye Spark. Seemingly furious towards one who was running away from her.

She returns back to the common room for a while. Then, a man, also known as Brendon Flake, can be seen to come out of the commons room, seemingly angry. After a short while, Meye also comes out and heads to find some Redcloak._

// edit: fixed Brendon's last name to correct

  • _Word is passed around that the banning from the Grapevine has been repealed for all but Grak, and any member of the Iron Chain Clan. Neither them, nor their coin is welcome.

A new rule is put up in the foyer of the Grapevine: Any casting of offensive magics within the Grapevine by anyone other than a member of the Sisterhood or the Norwick Militia is against the rules of the establishment, and the instigator will be met with swift retribution._

Brendel is seen leaving out the SouthGate, cheerfully whistling a tune, although one of his cheeks seems slightly bruised…

  • _Meye was seen to be asking to be taken to see chancellor from the redcloak and soon after that seen escorted to Dwin's office. After spending there some time, she has been seen to leave.

Few days later, she has been seen by Norwick fires, telling tales of cowardly half-orc Grak, who had sneaked into commons room while she and Brendon were sleeping in there and tried to kill them both. She also remembers to mention how she was forced to use Frostmaiden's power to get rid of Grak, and how the half-orc ran away in fear, as cowardly as he did when sneaking inn to attack sleeping persons.

She has also been mentioned of having official permission to now slay that creature if it ever again tries to attack her in town area._

  • A smack also echoes throughout the commons that day, as a certain scout is backhanded by a certain Militia Commander.

Brendel quietly strolls up, munching an apple. Nods to Devlin

I remember saying that it wouldn't be long until she found an excuse to give us an example of the Frostmaidens "fury"…

...not that I'm saying I told you so.....but....

  • Devlin walks over to the Inn to investigate personally after hearing the crack of the lightning echo throughout the commons, then seeing the damage done to the inn.

"What the hells is goin' on over here?"

Rumor flies and eventually reaches Grak. His slightly charred jacket is still unbuttoned and his face boast smile from ear to ear

"Mmm, nay female bes able ta resist Graks natural charms or Graks dust of charming.. Har har har. Too bads dat dust effect weareds off too soons, causing dem ruckus und ban inta dat inn.. Hmmz, there are oder inns und females ta be charmed, aye…

  • _Word is quickly passed around that those involved in this incident are no longer welcome in the Grapevine, and that if they try to enter they will be kindly, but firmly ejected. Should they protest, the Redcloaks will be called for.

If any ask on whose authority this has been ordered, the name they are given is Guardian Marie Scuttlestone._
