Frozen Over

Through unnatural cold, the river near the old Jiyyd crossing froze solid, allowing a large band of trolls to cross over and infest the pass. Several caravans fell prey to the marauders before adventurers formed a posse to deal with them and break up the river ice.

The sky often seems to darken even more than the usual for the winter storms. It often passes after a few hours. The cause is unknown but it seems to happen more and more frequently.

Sometime after the battle for the frozen river, a group of four were seen in the pass, collecting the fallen caravaners onto a wagon. The group consisting of Ronan, Arlinn, Belia, and Allestor. The lot of the them loaded the bodies into the wagon, and then Belia, in bear form, hauled it to the Kelemvor temple, where the fallen receive a proper burial.
