"It is… sad at times. The men and women of the the cities and villages want security, yet they frown on doing anything to bring it about.
Oh, when the orcs or the goblins come raiding, they cheer the heroes on as they rush out to meet the threat; but go forth and slay the leader of those bandits in the dark of the night and everyone decries you for a villain.
None the less, my duty will be satisfied. I will protect my homeland from those that wish it ill. If that needs doing preemptively, or from ambush, so be it."
Zephyr is a completely average looking Hin, with brown hair and eyes, lightly tanned skin of someone that spends much time out of doors. He is of immenently forgettable appearance, only being memorable in his character.
A ranger disillusioned with the contradictions posed by life, he still believes in protecting his people and civilization. It is just that he is willing to turn to more... direct methods than most people find tolerable.
Zephyr does not hire out as an assassin, although it is possible to convince him to do the deed. He always makes his own decisions, and pushing him is more than a bit likely to have him looking at YOUR motives.
Is it possible to be ethical and still be an assassin? Only time will tell.
