Character name: Rosco Underhill
Login: OaFK93Rosco ran as fast and hard as his body would allow him. He could hear the sheirks and yells of the his dieing friends and family. The smell of smoke and flame billowed into his nose with each breath he took.
His trading convoy had been hit by a large group of goblins. They're only hope of survial was to run and hide in the deep Rawlins.
Arrows slammed into the trees next to Rosco as he ran. He knew the goblins had caught his trail and were closing in on him quickly. He looked back for a brief moment.
" <h>Fark! They just don't give up do they?!"</h>
As he turned back around his face was slammed by the club of goblin.
All went black.
He awoke several hours later, only to come face to face with a large brown bear. His eyes widdened for a moment as he looked around. Goblins body parts were thrown all over.
Rosco slowly started to pull himself away from the bear, talking to it sweetly.
<h>"Nice be-bear, no need to eat little 'ol me…."</h>
The bear cocked its head to one side and licked his face.
Rosco wrinkled his nose and stuck his tongue out.
<h>"Uuuk, get your slobbery tongue outta here!"</h>
The bear let out a small whimper as Rosco hollared at him. Rosco looked around once more at all the body parts and finally came to his senses. The bear had saved his life from certain doom, that or being added to a cookpot for some halfling stew.
He gave the bear a pat on his head and thanked him.
Rosco then lived in the Rawlins with this bear for many years, learning the art of tracking and archery in his past time. He often visited the site where his convoy had been ambushed, wondering if he could have done somthing more. He carved out a sign and staked it at the site, it reads, "All those who past this site, take a minute to remember all those who have died in these woods, and all those who keep it as safe as they can."
He vowed to protect the woods and those who traveled it.
Thus, his tale began…..
