Iron chain clan patrols

Travellers and various watchtower spotters within wilderness all report sharp increase in (half)orc patrol sightings bearing insignia of Iron Chain Clan.
Sharper eyes can see that these patrols are not just ordinarily walking around lazily, but with some purpose. They are all be led by (half)orc, with at least vague idea about woodlore. As if they would be trying to inspect or find something within the wilderness.
What could it be, many ask.

***Heighened ICC -patrolling has come a sudden stop. This lull in activity is replaced by ominous sound of orchish (war)drums emenating deep within from ICC cave. Sound summons brethens together, like honey draws bees.
Perhaps they got frustrated in patrolling.. Or they found out something. Whatever that is, clan is mustering***

*Often with the patrols is a horc women dressed in bright white animal skin armor who wafts the smell of rot where she walks.. meanwhile….
another half orc, wearing copper and red armour is often seen watching the patrols from a distance whenever they are spotted in the pass*
