Char: Cal HurstHeight: 6'0
Age: Looks 20-22, Actually 20
Race: HumanPhysical Appearance
Long dirty blond hair is kept neatly in a pony tail, resting on his upper back. Two hazel eyes dart curiously around the world, eager to explore behind every tree and under every rock. His face holds no scars, warts, or signs of broken bones. It looks perhaps too clean, and one would venture to say he has little to no battle experience from his lack battle scars. His build is athletic, though his body does not look muscular, yet also not scrawny. He seems to have found a happy medium between the two.Character Background
Cal grew up on a distant farmland with his two parents. Growing up as an only child, he never had the comradeship or rivalry of other sibling. His parents impressed upon him the teachings of the House of the Triad (Ilmater, Tyr, and Torm), but as a child, the depictions of Torm in books and religious symbols enticed Cal to delve further into the teachings of Torm than the other two within the House. Cal would often attempt to draw pictures of Torm as his typical representation (a knight on a golden wyrm), but his inept artistic skills rendered the product to look more like a one-armed banana riding a large puppy with dental problems. He went to school in the farm town he lived in, but he never received any elaborate education. He was never top of his class, but he was never in danger of failing either.
On the weekends, Cal would go to the local church of the House of the Triad and speak with the Priest of Torm. The priest would instruct him more deeply in the ways of Torm, teaching him to meditate and call out to Him for inner strength and perseverance. As years passed, Cal's connection to Torm grew stronger, and he was able to call upon Torm's strength to practice clerical cantrips. Seeing this as a special gift, Cal knew his place was no longer in this town, and that he was destined for something more.
At the age of eighteen, Cal was eager for adventure and sense of purpose. He left town with no more than one-hundred gold pieces, a change of clothes, and a piece of cloth with the picture of a right-hand gauntlet printed on it. He has now stumbled upon Narfell, hoping to find that exactly what he is looking for.
