    Childhood
    Shade grew up on the southern banks of the Wyvernwater in Cormyr. She had a happy childhood and would help her mother repair fishing nets for her grandfather. She was raised as many in the region to worship Selûne. Her father was an elven sailor whose ship came up the Wyvernflow one summer.

    Teen years
    Spent working a mine as forced labor for a mad wizard. She escaped when the town above was overrun and destroyed by demons. She traveled with other refugees to the city of Arabel where she lived on the streets and in the sewers for many years.

    Late Teens- Early 20s
    She made friends with two women who would shape who she is today, each of which encouraged her to be her own person and choose what she wanted out of life, not what others demanded. During this time her faith grew stronger. She became more active in the church and defended the Shrine in East Way from demonic hordes, an ancient arch lich, and the agents of Shar. The Goddess appeared to her many times and she did great good in the name of Selûne. Shade eventually returned to the Wyvernwater with a force she assembled to take out the humanoid army of an Ancient Blue Dragon who was terrorizing the faithful of the region.

    She treated many who were attacked by lycanthropes and hunted those beyond help. She stood with the Pact of the New Moon as they fell to the forces of a Red Dragon deep in the Hullack Forest protecting artifacts blessed by Selûne herself. Soon after she married.

    Mid 20s
    She went to visit her sister Cyrcea who has gone into the Sword of the Anauroch to study Elah with the Bedine Mystics. Trusting She Who Guides implicitly Shade felt drawn to then go to the northeast and do missionary work in Selûne’s name. The caravan she accompanied eventually led to Narfell and the settlement of Norwick.

    Shade met Sir Shannon and together with a host of Knights and Companions they went into the heart of Jiyyd and stopped a cult from opening additional abysmal portals. She helped to reaffirm everyone’s faith in their gods during the trial by pointing out that anyone can do good in their name merely by being devout.

    She has since been working with the faithful of the area to increase Selûne’s presence and power in the region and has met with some small success so far.

    Although she has no idea what fate the Goddess has for her, Shade’s greatest wish is to be one of the Called… to one day be a Champion for her Goddess. Her secret dream, although she feels unworthy, is to join the host of planetar Devas, The Shards during the Conjuring of the Second Moon ritual. The Shards always take one mortal follower away to be one of them before they depart.
