A gory message

Appearing halfway between the Hoaran controlled bridge and the Gnoll controlled woods appears a gory scene left a ways off the road. Several gnoll heads are attached to stakes and arranged around the centerpiece, a Hoaran who bears the distinct marks of poisoning before being brutally impaled.
Arranged around the grisly scene are candles, eight in total, a sign boldly leaving a message to all who would read it. The general message being that the Nars is not meant to be owned by anyone, and all should travel freely. The signature left is "The Hin Avenger". Whoever the heck that is.
