New resident of the Grapevine Inn

Over the coming weeks, Maya introduces a young man of about 14 summers to the patrons of the inn. He appears off and on throughout the day helping with chores of the inn, and attending martial instruction in the back.
He is introduced as Corwin, son of Drelan Ashire and his late wife Candy. He appears to be a quiet lad, and somewhat introspective. Although lanky and not as physically inclined as the youth of Norwick, he has his father’s shoulders and piercing blue eyes. There is potential there, just waiting to be unlocked.
Maya makes well known that Corwin is under her personal protection, and that she has agreed to provide care and martial instruction for the indefinite future.
