Pamphlets Appear...

Days after Shannon D'Arneau addresses the crowd from the Rant Stand, stacks of a thick pamphlet can be found in pubs, stores, and doorways throughout the Commerce and Dock quarters.
**TRIANGLE OF BLOOD – The Seafarers, Harvest Union, and Norwick
Their Campaign Against You Exposed
Past And Future Crimes Laid Bare
By Professor Rex Ursagnat**
_It starts out very factual and comprehensive, compiling official reports of the wartime starvation, profiteering, and the role of the Seafarers and Union in all of this. It then goes on to point out that the resistance to Magistrate D'Arneau's efforts came about AFTER the Seafarers supposedly 'purged their corrupt elements'.
This spins into a more speculative (or at least less officially supported) vein. It relates how the Vaster affair was the result of an internal power struggle between native Peltarchish led by Vaster, and a shadowy 'Norwick Cartel' led by Dwin and Chadwick Whyte with greater ambitions. With Vaster exposed, the Norwick Cartel now dominates the Seafarers and is moving to put their men Chadwick and Ronan Redralen in place as Senators, able to quash any further exposure of Seafarer crimes.
It briefly covers the other candidates, listing Calen Ashwynd ("A dupe of the Cartel, innocent but blinded."), Lord Fisher ("One of the only men who sees what is going on and has the wisdom to stop it."), Adrian Petrarch ("Noble in vision, he seems to be coming around."), Marty Leaffall ("On the Cartel's hit list, probably won't survive the election… she has said too much."), and Kaster Lavindo ("Brave... bronzed... bald.")_

After several complaints from people mentioned in the pamphlets, General Ash instructs the Guard to take down any that are seen posted up in public and bring in anybody distributing them for questioning.

_Aelthas was seen gathering a few of the pamphlets up and posting them up by each of the gates. He looks at the guards and tells them to let them hang there, people have the right to their opinions and everyone deserves a good read.
He was seen walking off this house with a small stack in his hands as well, in case the pamphlets mysteriously go missing under the watchful eyes of the guards at the gates._

Dwin and Nor Dolvak collect as many of the fictitious pamphlets as they can. If asked, they explain that they will be perfect for lining the bottom of rat cages at the extermination store.
Dwin is heard mumbling, trying to make light of the slander…
_If someone is gonna publish such rubbish, they might have the ingots to at least use their real name. Hard to attribute any credit (or criticism) for a work of fiction when they cant even be honest about their own identity!
At least they burn. Good kindling, perhaps._
