A more quite than usual alexi can be seen around norwick when ever he is around and not in the ralwins woods. Always with a saddened face. When people ask him what is wrong he normaly just grunts and goes on his way with a letter griped in his hand. Ocasionaly he mutters some thing about oscura or some other random things.

*emerging from the hall with a yawn and cup of tea in hand, the chancellor looks pleasantly surprised by the -gigantic- bouquet of flowers. He takes a moment to look them over with a chuckle before reading the note…to which he frowns deeply *
oh for the love of...
he scoops up what he can of the bouquet, including the card, and drags it inside leaving a trail of stray flowers behind
-
A -gigantic- boquet of flowers is left outside the building containing the Chancellor's office for all to see before Lucid drags it away, if he does that is. A simple card is left with the flowers simply reading:
"Congratulations Lucidious upon your up and coming marriage to the fiesty Miss Jirka. May she change your sinning ways."
The card is not signed.

Rumors fly about the old man that was escorted into town by a group of adventurers. It is said the man has taken one of the nicer rooms at the inn and also that he is one of 3 Edwards brothers, owners of the Edwards Brother's Trading Co. The man seemed familiar with Wald and spoke with Praeth as though they were longtime friends before making his way to the inn.
It seems word is spreading of a substantial reward being offered in lieu of the return of his family members that were apparently kidnapped in an ambush attack outside the north gates of Norwick in the South Valley.
-
At times the chancellor can be seen walking with fadia as she visits farms in the area, talking quietly with her on recent events. He seems pleased to have a druid from the circle openly offering aid to the people of Norwick as they prepare for a possible threat from the north.
-
The Well in Norwick had a bit of a flare up with earthquakes and a few planar incursions. Fortunately two member of the crimson guard (one newly minted) along with Shannon, Lucidious, Kara, and Jerr were on hand to keep the damage to a minimum.
While some wonder at why the skald was heard to taunt some occupant of the well most assumed it was to draw out a hidden enemy. There were no deaths and the flare up ended at sunset, in time for the skald to drum the sun down in his usual way.
-
Fadia Nailo, elder of the local druid circle, is seen in town much more frequently since the events in the Nars. Almost always, she makes sure to stop by the town's farms, inspecting the fields and crops, and casting minor blessings on the fields (with the chancellor's permission, naturally) when needed, and when permitted by the folks tending them.

_Guards were put on alert late in the day after one traveller was hurt caused by traps set at and around the north gate, Militia Guard Cyrian, as well as Kiera and Laucian cautiously travelled north setting off a few other traps in chase of who they believed to be the one setting the traps, while no one got a clear look at the culprit all that is known is that the person had white hair and that the culprit was likely alone. Further north near the Kelemvor shrine a damaged carriage was discovered and a dead body nearby, after spending a good time trying to detect further traps Cyrian approached the corpse to see if the person was Dead or could be saved, another trap was trigged as he neared the body, and then another again as he examined the corpse, the final trap which caused the body to explode sending poisonous filth all over the place and also destroying what was left of the carriage, one person was caught by the poison and was taken to the Shrine for treatment while Cyrian was able to shake it off. The rest of the evening was quiet and the one responsible was never found.

_A lot of commotion was coming from Norwick, as a rather large group of guards burst out the northern gates and made their way towards the cemetary entrance as quickly is their armoured selves could carry them.
This display was not in vain, it seems, for not moments after they had arrived, the Defender Mark, the Sail Celina, the Gondar Dentin and a woman identified as Tamika came running back, followed by a horde of wights.
Slaughter ensued.
Along with the help of the guard, and two more Sails arriving at the scene, the wights were dealt with. During this fight, Dentin and Tamika lost their lives.
The danger was far from over, however, as the body of the paladin Elenwyd was still in the graveyard, which was now occupied by a wight lord. The guards did not enter the graveyard, themselves, and they, probably, were wisest in their decision.
Celina went to retrieve Elenwyd's body. As time passed, Alexi also entered, as well as Mark.Celina came out again quite a while later, looking as if she would collapse at any moment. Lucidious entered the graveyard, and returned with Alexi and Mark, also heavily wounded.
They began to make their way towards the town, carrying the dead and their belongings.
A guard could be overheard speaking to the Chancellor, saying that it was the wight lord they had vanquished once before.
This was later confirmed, as Mark had been heard to say the wight had, quite literally, said "Norwick has destroyed me. I have come to return the favour.".Why they went there in the first place, as well as how the lord came back into existance, seems unclear.
Though the tides are turning for Norwick, to be sure._

A man some may know as Alexi can be seen frequently out in the rawlins many nights at a time and when not there sleeping outside the pixie glenn's entrance
-
Some are less than pleased at this latest decision of the chancellors
-
Word spreads quickly that the pixie glenn is now off limits. Vino is sending away visitors informing them that the pixies have become dangerous and that the Chancellor has asked him to keep watch until the matter is resolved.

_The hill north of Norwick was attacked by several eastlanders. The hill was held by the chancellor Lucid, Dwin, Genzir of the Keep, Wolf of the druid Circle, Lance, and Kadosh. The group suffered no deaths of their own, but they came close. It seems the eastlanders were very young, barely 20 years of age. The hill is now watched by Norwick scouts.
Travelers should beware…._
-
_A barracade was put in place on top of the Hill north of Norwick, where a lone (assumed) lunatic claimed the area as his and told everyone he was defending the pass from hobgoblins. Eventually, some of his people stepped from the trees and a fight broke out with a meager force from Norwick. It was quick, but deadly.
Although these ruffians on the hill lost many more than the Norwick folks did, they were more numerous and eventually took the hill. They are now defending the position ((OOC they are there)) and several of their archers can be seen on the hilltops throughout the pass.
The Militia and Town leaders are meeting and discussing this obvious threat, but they encourage all townsfolk not to worry, as this is clearly a "misunderstanding" of sorts. Meanwhile the Norwick guards and scouts are busily fortifying defenses amd heading out on reconaissance missions to assumedly keep an eye on these new-comers._
-
A small group of Norwick Scouts ride out from the inner gate on horseback escorting a young halfelven girl in ill-fitting leathers. They seem to be equipped for a long journey, their mounts carrying enough supplies to last months in the wild. They make their way to the crossroads then disappear from the view of the guards there as they continue to ride northwest.
-
One fine day (err rainy day since Norwick is always rainy), the Paladin Kara and Slipshadow head south out of town, veering off slightly to the west, rumours are they headed to the ancient ruins near the old druid circle. What happend there is slightly vague, something about shadows and a prophesy and a champion rising to battle for the light. A day later, an exhausted Kara and Slip arrive back in Norwick. Just before entering the gate Slip collapses, exhausted and is eventually dragged in by a guardsmen and Kara. While they await a healer, the druid known as Wolf arrives and heals the near to death Slip and Kara. Eventually Slip comes to and after a breif recount of what happend they all part ways.

_Watching the Legionairre walk towards Norwick, Foilir nods to the guards and aims a stream of processed ale at the stone.
"There yeh go Sam…. Treatin yeh memory as it deserves teh be treated..."
Foilir gives a few shakes and follows the legionnaire into town, nodding again to the guards before he goes._
-
Will notes the yellow stain in the snow around the stone.
Anyone close enough to hear might have heard him mention, to no one in particular, that Norwick apparently has no laws about relieving oneself in public within the area claimed by Norwick - a fact that some people are sure to take advantage of, once they become aware of it.
-
Dwin stops by to investigate the act of witchery that changed "Pissing Stone" into something else over night.
Tis much more pleasin' to look at, but its still seems to be clouded by some evil presence…. could just be the years o piss, I guess... but it seems somethin' aint right here.
I am gonna ask me people to look into this...
With that he relieves himself and heads back to town.
