Whispers at the Fire

  • Rumors spread like wildfire that the pink-haired bard, Penny, has recently undergone some sort of alarming transformation of appearance. What appears to be a brilliant prismatic tattoo now curves across her forehead, around her left eye, down her cheekbone, and spirals loosely around her neck before disappearing into her clothing. Several of her outfits reveal that this tattoo continues its spiral pattern across her torso and abdomen. The more unusual of these rumors seems to indicate that the pattern isn't a tattoo at all, but rather, a continuous patch of brightly reflective scales.

  • A party was lead into the woods with the intent of capturing a goblin or two to perform some form of experiments on. The party met with considerable resistance in the near west woods and retreated back to Norwick, where a goblin with magical abilities freed the captured goblins and escaped untouched.

  • Peltarch Defender Shannon D'Arneau was seen defending the south gates from goblin and bugbear attacks, though it seems no one actually saw him enter town. Upon his departure, many say that he chanted a few words and disappeared at the gate.

  • After the attack, Oreth is seen to stand outside the glenn, puzzling over all the dead zombies, (or whatever) and addressing no one in particular

How the hells do we keep sleeping through this shite?

  • Word spreads of undead attacking a group of adventurers who were resting in the Druid Glen. The group fought off the attacks and headed to the graveyard for a closer look. There they fought back many undead. Some injuries were taken but none too serious. The adventurers made sure to stop in to Friar Fred's place to spread the word to the holy.

  • Of late the poor goblins of the Rawlins seems to have been exposed to even more violence than usual. The remains of a camp can be found in the woods, scattered with half-chewed goblin bones, though the creatures who caused the havoc seem far gone by now. The graveyard keeper nurses an ale at the Boarshead, mumbling incoherantly about strange noises and large figures moving through the mist and out into the Pass.

  • ::rumors spread of the Captain meeting with all of the guards and a select few militia members in the barracks. They were seen entering the barracks then leaving a short while later and heading back to their assigned posts. A sence if urgency was about all of them but a smile could be seen on several faces::

  • Lucidious spends a few evenings standing on the platform at the south gate practicing what appears to be some kind of formal speech. As he whispers words in elven, he makes a series of elegant gestures that would perhaps seem more appropriate for a formal gathering. He often stops in the middle of the speech too cross out and then rewrite sections of text in a book near his pack. After each edit, he starts the speech again from the beginning, trying to get the words and motions just right. Each night he seems unsatisfied with the results of his work and heads back to the Boarshead with a defeated look about him.

  • the town cryer gives the news that a very large reward with be offered in relation to the murders and the suspect wearing 'golden' boots

  • Odd and jumbled rumors float around town about a serial killer prowling for young women, as well as a town guard being killed. The common description seems to be of a human male with gold boots, although accounts vary wildly between each telling.

  • Lucidious is seen inspecting the damage to the temple looking for any odd metallic debris. He scribbles some notes into his book then makes his way back to Norwick. He stops to speak with the guards at the north gate for a moment before making his way into town.

  • Rumour has it that atleast two mages attacked the Kelemvorite temple with fireballs

  • Zyphlin is heard remarking by the fire one day how Kegs were magically sprouting from the ground, following his every footstep, and seeming to have some kind of intellegence before igniting and trying to fry him alive. Most thought he was doing a clever bit of comedy.

  • many dead half cooked things begin to litter parts of the Rawlins for those with sharp eyes. Gobblins mostly, occaisionally a saurial or lizard. Some drunks speak of a bright creature roaming the rawlins attacking anything it comes accross with lightning from its mouth.

  • Word begins to spread about something happening at the Kelemvorite Shrine. Exactly what it is, no one knows for sure, but apparently all the people there seem quite on edge.

  • Dwin is seated at the fire, on duty of course, scanning the skies for large black birds of prey.

Heard a rumor t'day in the Boar.

Now, the source aint all that reputable, but it still sent a bit of a shiver down me spine. Seems there's some crazy wiggler in the forest turnin' greenskins invisible so they can sneak up and …

Dwin mimes a slw cut across his throat

Best keep yer ears open fer "icka icka" because ya ain't gonna be seein' em!

  • Rando hears of Nicahh and her request and send one of his men to seek her out and request she seeks out the Lord Protector

Guard " The Lord Protector wishes to see you in his halls"

  • Nicahh is once again seen carrying a bundled package through Norwick. However this time, she is seen coming from the woods, holding a tiny bundle, soft cries filling the air. Rumors spreads that a caravan had been attacked by goblins, and that the survivors had been held hostage in Skara's cave. When a small group arrived to rescue them, the only living soul left was a small half elven baby girl who was about to be sacrificed upon an altar. Nicahh is heard requesting to post a sign in Norwick, in hopes of finding the baby's parents.

  • Many note a man in black and gold armor praying by the south Norwick wall outside the gates often mentioning the name Yol to the air. Why he is doing such no one seems to know.

  • The guards whisper about Hedia and Nicahh seen heading south towards the elvish encampment with what appeared to be a lifeless elf wrapped in a cloak being carried in Nicahh's arms.
