Whispers at the Fire

  • Shining Knight Rico Swift managed to make it all the way to the final rounds of the last boxing match, beating the Legion General Theaon. Then he promptly ducked out of the final fight so he wouldn't have to fight a girl.

  • Any traveller that passes through the rawlins and take the time to look up,can usually see Nent'entul sitting on the tree tops, quietly watching them walking. When some people speak at him,he growls and leaves fast, jumping gracefully to other close trees and disappears into the forest.

Those with keen eyes can notice that this happens only at nights…

  • Dondiah is seen, masked and irritated, glareing at the notice for Ty'eth. "I support this drow, in fact, he's under my protection and the protection of Eilistraee, it is my hope that I can represent him, who do I need to speak with?" She inquired to the guard standing by.

  • Legion

Benji waits on hand and foot for his injured wife Talyna. He keeps a smile on his face to match Talyna's ever optimistic demeanor. They spend plenty of time together in the infirmary as Talyna recuperates. Occasionally she sends him out on errands to satisfy her crazy cravings.

While he's away from her he has a distant, deeply worried look about him. He's ornery and short with everyone, more so than usual.

  • Rumours about the massive undead attack South of Norwick include ones that the Hoaran adviser Vaxin Roe was killed at the battle's conclusion - his body described by one onlooker to have melted away.

  • Two halflings, Rubo and Moonie, bring a severely injured Talyna Felf to the infirmary. Rumors fly that the nasty wounds to her abdomen won't heal by spells. To make matters more worrisome, she's with child as well!

  • Rumor spreads that maybe someone will be hunting down Locrian…

  • Some say the village defender/idiot/hard head asked one Miss Moon River to marry him!

    Bloody absurd.

…..and also, Some say she said -yes-!

  • After the fist fightin' men of manlyness left, a small arguement broke out between Gnarl and the conspiracy theorist Elva Lane, It ended when Elva screamed loudly and passed out, both men left her unconscious on the side of a road until a woman found her and took her to the inn.

  • Rumour spreads that two "fist fightin' men of manlyness" challenged Rolly Fingers and Gnarl Horst to an "honourable fistin' punch out" and that when Rolly Fingers and Gnarl Horst lost the match they "acted likea couplea garls!" and that they're allegedly going to be "punched righ' in thar faces." some time soon.

  • Rumors spread quick around the Relalm of Norwicl. But when they concern BOB -THE- KOBOLD seems like they are faster.

Seems like this giant flying kobold is now pooping powder kegs from the skies. His latest victim, Maria that had her robes burned once hit by the poop-keg.

The 20 feet tall humanoid is also believed to be invulnerable as a great hit by Mooncandy's axe made him but laugh, days before.

What will be the next trick BOB will reveal is the question everyone asks around the south gate.

  • The Militiaman Havon was seen not holding his usual tower shield as he entered Norwick from the north one recent night. Instead, it seemed that he was cradling something, very anxious. He disappeared with Thorn into the great hall, it is said, and hasn't come out for some time.

  • _Rumour has it Sabre was spotted in Norwick - and it wasn't even Fight Night! She did NOT look happy, stalking towards the militia barracks in something of a hissy fit, soon thereafter leaving as quickly as she came.

Some hours later, Black Sails scallywag John Isle was escorted out of town by Locrian and a small contingent of guards and curious bystanders, the famed fencer securely tied up. Locrian's party later returned to town in a scorched and bloodied state, with the exception of one John Isle. What on earth happened?_

  • Rumours abound of an intoxicated, smelly dwarf running around wildly flailing and smashing into shit around the town.

  • Council of Moradin

All around Norwick, it seems that Mike is looking for Fadia or Rasuil. Looks like it's a serious matter…. at least for Mike.

  • The militia, bluntly, state that the policy is that nobody be allowed to see prisoners, especially not a drow.

  • Ama'bael is seen inquiring at the jail if she may visit with the imprisoned drow. If allowed or not, she asks if they know his name and offers to work as a translator for the drow if they need it.

((I know some prisoners are allowed visitors but unsure if a drow would be, so if someone could say yes or no, I would appreciate it.))

  • @129fdab2ed=LowerDenizen:

Rumor has it that a lone drow murdered a number of peaceful campers within the Rawlinswoods. But rumors are odd things, since some of the rumors say the drow even led the guards out to see his handiwork, then tried to kill them too. Some say he didn't. All anyone really knows is that there's four bodies at the temple, one a child. Oh, and there's a drow in the jail.

Militia Scout Tindra makes a visit to the temple to see the bodies, then heads out into the woods. Perhaps she's investigating the matter?

  • @0a22375d3e=Nilla:

A "pretty" dwarven woman was seen entering the Grapevine Inn with the well known captain of the Norwick guards, Locrian. It is said they entered an upstairs private room, her clinging to his leg and looking down right giddy and lovestruck. She left not too long after that, (which left some snickering at the Captain's stamina) though it seems perhaps Locrian was left to re-cooperate in the inn room for much longer. Or maybe he was locked in there.

In the few moments Vander is in town and hearing the rumors, he can't help but laugh outloud:

"Eh, woot do ya think? Dat's got ter be un new world record record, eh? Woot was it? Two minutes?
But ye kin nay blame du speedy captein, eh. Ee be used to dem lasses wit no meat round du bone, wasnt ready fer dealin wit da dwarven splendor in du best 'f its form!!"

*He laughs and chuckles away, helping to spread the rumor *
