Whispers at the Fire

Ael'Que is seen spending large amounts of his down time researching in the library at Spellweaver and the Legion tower. He does not request help often , when he does he mentions The Whispering Wall.
-
A lone rider enters the gates of norwick, his armor and shield a shining beacon of light, he says little but greets the villagers with a calm smile, he rides toward the Shrine of Lathander where he dismounts and enters. After a few hours the man rides into the Rawlins, seeking out the ever present shadows which have been springing up throughout the woods. He returns to the Temple each day at dawn, then once again sets out to carry out whatever task he has been given.
-
Elva notices the Badger and runs away frantically, She then quickly warns everyone about "spies"
-
Late in the night two weary and trail worn travellers enter Norwick's north gates. Dropping their cloak hoods, what at first appears to be a human and a halfling reveal themselves to instead be a human child and a woman appearing to be in her late twenties. Heading straight to the Grapevine, the young woman leaves what appears to be a badger outside with an apple with a softly chiding voice. Inside the cloaks are removed, revealing the woman unarmed, but the boy oddly with two long knives on his belt. Speaking to the innkeeper to rent a room, when asked for names the only reply heard is…
Jenni and Jonni

@bed573bfc3=rei_jin:
Word goes around about some kind of super horse knocking out foul bandits with a single kick, and the terror inspired simply by the sight of its red dressed owner arriving on the scene.
Rico Swift turns to his noble steed and asks "How drunk was I last night? I don't remember any of this."
-
Rumor spread that some adventurer was found dead in a cave near the lake, where some mummies had woke up from their rest. this mummies seem to come from the ceilin, where their coffens were stuck until someone kegged the cave and was a cave in
-
_Late one night in Norwick, all is quiet when a horse is led into town, with a pair of bandits bound and gagged on its back. Two very, very unconscious bandits.
Word goes around about some kind of super horse knocking out foul bandits with a single kick, and the terror inspired simply by the sight of its red dressed owner arriving on the scene.
Val, for her part, just giggles and shakes her head._

An unnatural darkness has been appearing throughout the Rawlins in recent weeks, also appearing at times around the Crypts and other entrances to caves. Often left in the wake of the darkness is the bodies of Goblinoids or animals that now call the areas home.
-
Therean, the oddly cheerful elf, when not adventuring in the company of Ama'bael, Ael'Que, Uniel, Elsbeth and others, occasionally passes time atop the hill behind the Grapevine practicing The Dance of Swirling Winds for the upcoming Seldarine dance.
While the small lily entwined in his braid - despite the continual efforts of the Winged Brother over the past month to the contrary - has finally begun to slowly wither, his smile is everpresent, and his eyes twinkle happily around the other SoS, possibly even moreso around one in particular.
Therean is pleased about all the possible new friends he has met, though sad to see Cara leave. He says an extra prayer for a safe journey for her and her babe.

The bald beardless dwarf Vandekaus can be seem around the town asking for Rith.
Aperently, he has an urgent matter to speak to her.
-
Havon apparently oversees Hammerhand's labor… appearing somewhat reluctant.
-
In the tenday to come, Hammer works alongside Norwick's lumberjacks and carpenters on the construction of a new gate. Apparantly, he was 'volunteered' by Locrian after an incident involving Hammer, a chatty hin and a well-done smashdown.
-
_Shadows attacked Norwick, held of by only three militia, Hammerhand and a new adventurer. It was a close battle, one that two of the militia did not survive. Not long after, a strange man Hammer knows as Mard Diams appeared, the darkness seeming to 'drip' off him. Just as Hammer was about to throw him into the shrine of Lathander, the darkness formed into a .. dark figure, that spoke the usual rhetoric of impending doom and gloom.
"Farking magic farker couldn't even defeat -me-. Damned thing belongs in Oscura, where they like shadows. Why's it that every other week something comes along and threatens death, destruction and warm beer, even though the week before that we made a footnote of another one. Every damned time…"_
-
Over a day and two nights, all sorts of undead and goblins attacked the Norwick gates. From the front, from the sides and even from below, they were driven back time and again. Even the appearance of several massive undead constructs, taller than houses, was not enough to break the defense.
-
_The songstress Val Kyrie, dressed in red, appeared in the middle of the Norwick Fairgrounds a few nights ago, in a burst of dark energy. Caelisar and Belia with her, and a queasy look on their faces.
What could that bard have been up to?_
-
Aramuil strolls out of his office and into the courtyard around the Great Hall, notices the man and calmly walks up, examining the scroll. A moment later he waves some nearby militiamen who promptly haul the man into the barracks while the white mage wanders back into the Great Hall
-
A man is found outside the Norwick barracks. Hog tied and gagged, a scroll case is tucked into the ropes binding his hands. Dark haired and eyed, the man looks about, obviously awake but groggy eyed. A quick perusal of the papers in the scroll case show a number of invoices and shipping documents with the cargo clearly marked as slaves.

Shadows descended on portions of the Rawlinswood over the past week, they're they lingered even after the rising of the sun. Some folks report of shadowy figures moving about, others dismiss the rumors as superstition or wives tales.
-
An oddly cheerful elf has taken to wearing a feather behind the wing on his helm, and more recently to wearing a small lilly in his hair, the stem entwined in his braid.
