Whispers at the Fire

  • The Rose Knight walks back into Norwick, befert of the holy armor, shield, and gloves he's come to be seen in. He looks sad, and somber, but smiles and ensures anyone who asks that it's all for the best.

He does ask if a skilled smith can loan him a tower shield and set of platemail for a short time.

  • Dwin Dolvak is said to be looking for an "established wiggler" who can enchant a pair of boots for him.

Any such wiggler should contact him ((PM)) at the Crafting Hall or the Dwarven Hold.

Apparently he will pay a handsome fee to anyone that can help him.

  • Rico Swift continues his quest for information, and is putting together an expedition of good natured folks to ride roughshod over to Oscura looking for answers as well. ((Say, Midnight tonight, EST, after I get home from work. That'll be in about 11.5 hours from now))

  • Hearing the news about the dog men and the missing wifes, Kabul heads out to the south trying to find any trace or evidence on both rumors.

He scans the area south of the lake, the goblin broderland and hobgoblns territory for a few consecutive nights.

When the sun comes up, he retuns to town for some rest and to prepare for the next night out.

  • Gossip at the south gate might well include an attack of a decidedly unusual kind - animated pants, reportedly very smelly and aggressive, followed by their gnome creator. Despite very generously handing out bright green sets of armours to the small crowd present, the gnome's life is said to have ended violently after certain misgivings about his newest and most spectacular spell - the Fiery Cannon-Ball Cows of the Abyss.

  • *As usual, the clanging sound of metalwork can be heard coming from the Crafters Union Guild Hall. What's unusual is that, for two solid days, it doesn't really stop for very long.

When it finally does stop, a weary looking Z is spotted leaving the hall, and heading north at a quick gallop.*

  • Strange numbers of regular housewives have been going missing as of late. There seems to be no trace of where they were or where they are now, they are just… gone.

  • _Late one night, a woman can be seen huddled at the bonfire in Norwick proper.

When approached, she says very little, but continues to mumble on about crazed dog men and shadows. She seems much less than coherent, mumbling and rocking herself back and forth.

At dawn, she stands wearily, heavily leaning on a staff and walks back towards the north gate._

  • @de3f64e6bf=cardamon:

Rico Swift is still wandering about, looking for info on this Baltassa and Izakiel. As the deadline draws closer, he seems more and more worried about the possibility of failure, his trademark confidence faltering ever so much.

    Z looks for Rico. :ninja:

He also looks for Loc… :x

  • Legion

As Benji shuffles through Norwick between the Legion Hall and the Silver Valley he asks if Aelthas has been around.

((I'll look for you in game))

  • After a brief absense following his resignation, Dwin Dolvak (tanned, relaxed and healthy-looking) can be seen in and around town. He spends most of his time at the Great Hall, Dwarven Hold, and drinking ale at the Inn (though not necessarily in that order).

He also proudly wears a shimmering set of chainmail–supposedly he recently met with Telli's estate attorney.

  • The Constable, whistling tunelessly, can be seen hammering up a very large signboard at the gates and at the dock, reading:

    NORWICK LAW

And followed by a long, long list of numbered items.

  • A large dog and a white wolf are seen going north through the mountains… never to be seen again.

  • _A duel was seen taking place, to the north of town, between Locrian and a blue armored warrior. Locrian was beaten down unceremoniously, and some harsh words spoken by the warrior in blue.

Locrian, for his part, left looking rather unhappy._

  • ::The High Priestess of Lathander, Rith Phoenixfeather, has been seen going into the crypts herself, alone, carrying a golden greatsword. Anyone following her only saw a trail of burned and cut down undead corpses of all sizes all the way to the underdark::

  • Belma'r is seen heading toward the crypts

  • _Hammer moves trough the town and gives warnings to militia and townsfolk alike.

"Raryldor has been claimed by the Reaver's Curse. He can barely control himself anymore, and will likely attack anyone and everyone on sight, without remorse. If he's spotted, raise the alarm immediately. He was powerful before, and the Curse has made him even more so. Though he was last spotted in the crypts, it's unlikely he'll stay there._
