Whispers at the Fire

  • The dwarven hold recived a strange knocking in the middle of the night, on the far side heading into the underdark through the rural tunnels a knocking was heard on the far side of the vault doors. And a small camp was made just outside yet no other inclination fo who was there was present

  • Vanderkaus has been seen venturing into the Rawlings a lot.
He usually leaves during the mid of the day and returns at the begging of the night.

Altough his packs look full of logs, his look is somewhat concerned.

On rare occasions, he maybe spoted reading some pieces of paper over and over, as if trying to memorize what s on them.

  • The deadly being known as the Dark Enchantress stopped by the south gate. She had a brief exchange of words with Tindra, Rith, and an elven soldier from Silverymoon. Tindra could be seen to be gripping her bow tightly with a face both fearful and full of angry hate. Rith on the other hand, bravely stood in between Tindra and the Enchantress, promising to defend Tindra from the Dark Enchantress. The elven soldier, Jadin, seemed to simply stand still as to not attract attention to himself, which was probably for the best.

Tindra and Rith retired for the evening at the Grapevine Inn. The residents were disturbed in the middle of the night by a frightened scream from their room, followed by some sobbing and soothing words spoken.

  • Word has it that the elven woman Aaleyah has offered to pay for the pitifull creatures defense and has personal evidence to the the actual event concerning the robbery of the Grapevine

  • _Norwick Redcloak Timmot is seen off duty bragging about how he and his partner (maybe with the aid of some eastern swordsman) subdued the notorious goblin highwayman FitzSqee after that scofflaw robbed the Grapevine.

He and his partner will be splitting the bounty money 50/50 as soon as the Constable verifies they have the right goblin, which Timmot is pretty confident of, saying, "How many other swashbuckling rapier-sticking road agent goblins could there be?"_

  • *After a brief transaction between Z and a, some would say suspicious looking, half orc, Z heads into the craft hall.

A few moments later, Z exits the hall laughing and slowly shaking his head.*

  • *Z is seen wandering the East Rawlinswood, and taking down the dead and dying trees that have succumbed to the rot.

He prays as he works, and once a tree is felled, he plants 2 acorns (oak) to take its place.*

  • Albry was seen walking towards the Grapevine with braided hair, an unusual look in comparison to her normal ponytail. At the end of said braid there was a…pink ribbon? Has something come over the stern Colonel? Perhaps getting in touch with her feminine side? Whatever it is, she stepped from the inn a few minutes later, ribbon and braid gone, making her way to the barracks with a slightly annoyed look.

  • Some people saw Apollo leaving town quietly. They saw him leaving a note for a friend at the inn…

//And off i leave for holiday.Probably be back in game at august.Take care all.

  • Any peace-loving citizens that had braved the Rawlins to go have a wander since they're calmed after the defeat of the Dracolich, have yet again another reason to be wary of the woods.

From near the Misty Pond, a dire-tiger runs full-tilt roughly southwest, to one of the Major roads that eventually leads of of Narfell. The creature pays no heed to anyone, or anything in it's way, either going over or around any obstacles in it's path as fast as it can possibly move.

    Just like that, it's gone.

  • //Not a Ranger, Fighter/Rouge

Why does everyone make that mistake

People who saw Arlan finally leave said that he seemed….Jittery.

  • Some Say….

Locrian got slapped repeatedly by one Arlan, before losing composure and barehandedly beating the ranger into the soil, and dragging him to jail!

Others still remark that loc did not come back for quite some time!

  • (( Word gets around that Celad and Syclya have left Norwick. No one seems to know where or for how long, although a messenger was seen delivering a letter to La'ali at the Grapevine Inn. It was overheard that the letter was from Celad))

  • _The Chancellor and Toilir are seen walking together into the hold speaking quietly in Dwarven.

Hours later Toilir emerges staggering a bit and grumbling about kin in the area not knowing what good quality Dwarven stock is and how they'll see soon enough…_

  • @ff251fe194=Clan:

The Chancellor can be seen more and more entering and exiting the Dwarven Hold, more often than normal, and for longer periods of time. Perhaps now that the Wendigo-War is over, he can spend more time with his kin and his ale.

Toilir steps in beside the Chancellor on one of his walks from the town to the Hold and speaks with him quietly in Dwarven.

    //Go to PMs?

  • _An ugly, smelly, squamous looking cloak enters the town shortly before Rico Swift, who is carrying the thing on a standard issue ten foot pole so as to keep it as far from his personage as possible while still keeping it in sight.

    @7ca5d0cca9:

It is a foul raiment of the darkest kind. It must be destroyed…but I have yet to find a way.

Rico himself is wearing a clothespin over his nose as he handles the insidious swathe into a crate full of sawdust…which only slows the spread of the odor of the thing._

  • Strangely enough…a few known close friends of the elf in question are still around Norwick seeming their normal selves more or less.

    Odd?

  • Word spreads that Chancellor Dwin took the hand of one of his own Scouts, Brendel, for speaking his mind a little too freely. Outrage came over many of the militia, many quitting in a furry. It is even said that Colonel Albryanna directly defied the Chancellor's orders to have Brendel imprisoned, and let him go free instead. Has the Chancellor finally taken it too far that even his most trusted officer is acting against his law?

  • _A duel between two Temposans was seen to take place outside the town walls, with the dark warrior being beaten senseless without harming the blue warrior at all, her singing seeming to sap away his will to fight.

Afterwards, there was much healing magics thrown around, and comraderie._
