A vision, or an act?

Some chattering about the commons fire in Norwick seems to have centered on a certain elf maiden who "set up shop" on the large rock behind the fire, speaking something about communicating with Savras, and then promptly turning her attention to the crystal ball in front of her, as well as all the implements about her, which included things like feathers, a fang, and other witchcrafty looking items.
She spoke of a caravan, and four guards in particular, all of which stood out to her specifically, down to how neatly they kept their facial hair, and she proceeded to recount their deaths in grisly detail, all of which ended in beheading upon an altar, immediately after disembowelment.
She was nearly in hysterics during some of it, having to witness these as if she was there, supposedly, and once she came out of it, she took a moment to speak to those around her, and was immediately called a fraud my the Advisor Arcane for the small town of Norwick, who professed supreme knowledge of Gnoll sacrifice rituals, and called her seeing a "Performance".
She left in tears more bitter than the ones she shed during the "seeing", and seems to have been in the inn since, recovering.
Is she indeed a fraud? Is there proof to either theory? Talk about the campfire seems to have both opinions, but for the advisor arcane it seems only time will tell.

Talim stats that the elf adviser of magical things of Norwick, has a flappy mouth and should be kicked rudely. Than locates some milk and cookies to take to the seer.

Reilash notes dryly that if the vision was taken seriously the unfortunate deaths could have been avoided to the detriment of no one, if a certain man had as much of an open mind as his loose tongue would have one think. Reilash also takes the time to point out that diviners of Savras should always be taken seriously until proven otherwise, due to the deity's particular nature.

Jay would helpfully tell Aramuil that the incident was divined before it was reported.

Bagnar stares at a mug of ale and finally murmurs, "Methinks ah see uh N'Jast soldier…. he's in Jiyyd. Summat lak dat happen?"

Aramuil (when the whole issue had come up) pointed out that seeing something in the past and making up a story about it is easy to do.

_Having the opportunity to prove the great Arcane Advisor wrong, when Sails member Jay hears of this, he goes about the camp fires to report that this indeed happened.
A group consisting of many adventurers found a destroyed caravan, with gnolls standing over bodies, and several other victims were dragged into their woods, and then further into their caves. The adventurers found the beheaded caravan victims once they arrived at a bloody altar within the gnoll dens.
If none believe him, he points them toward Norwick's chancellor, Dwin… who was actually there to witness it all.
He asks if Norwick's citizens truly believe their arcane advisor has "supreme knowledge.."_
