He stands at a window, his arms behind him. In the next room a women was giving birth to a child, his child. A child that would make Bane proud… whenever he came back. The night passed on weairly, but finally someone came in. 'Master Ixsurs, it is done". He walked in, a smirk across his face. He looked in at the woman, she layed still, her face blank, and another held his son. The one who showed him in came up to him "She passed away right after birth" Ixsurs just laughed. "Let me see my son" he proclaimed. One of the attendants ran up to him holding the baby. "Easy" he scolded her, "if you drop this boy, i swear, you will never know the end of pain", The attendant quickly handed him the baby, Ixsurs smirked "where is the mage?", a man in the corner stood up quickly, "right here" a elf voice proclaimed. "good", Ixsurs said in an impatient voice "well dont just stant there cast the spell!" The mage walked up to the side, took out three hairs of a hell hound, and began to wave his hands, casting. The spell waved over the baby. Ixsurs laughed, "he will be strong", suddenly, a heavy knock came at the door. "We know you're in there banite scum!" While Ixsurs looked calmy at the door, everybody else looked around nervously, claims of "its them, the followers of cyric" or "they are here!" could be heard. Ixsurs quiclky took out a knife, and in the babies wrist he carved to letters, letters that would leave scars. IX. He then put the baby on the bed and proclaimed, 'move into the other room, in the name of bane, cyric shall not claim us today, not if we have to unleash the very hells on them!" They rushed into the room, weapons drawn, the door was being smashed against by something big. The Banites stood all five feet fromt the door in a half circle, shoulder to shoulder. Ixsurs stood, his mace rolling in his palm, as he stared at the door "whatever's out the its more than just the cyricians." As he finished the last word the door flew straight forward and smashed into one of the warriors. Then something, walked throught the door and Ixsurs laughed "they've sent a vicous five foot Nightwalker at us", and indeed it seemed so. The Nightwalker stood there arms crossed, it was very small for its kinds, which normally towered as large as a giant. But even in its small form it still looked imtimidating. Then from outside a mage's laughter could be heard. Draconic mumbling could be heard and as it finished the Nightwalker began to grow "fools!" the caster from outside yelled. Indeed Ixsurs felt like one, because then he realized what had happend. The mage had shrunk the beast to catch them off guard, or at the very least, get through the door. The thing had reached its full sized and charged the man nearest Ixsurs. Ixsurs dodged to the side, staying clear as one of his fighters was torn to shreds in a matter of seconds. The mage began to cast a spell, from the imenant coldness in the room, Ixsurs could tell it would finish it off, but. As he suspected as soon as the Nightwalker detected the casting he leaped on the mage, ripping thorugh protection spell after protection spell until he finally bit through the mages chest, ripping out his heart and tossing it across the room. Ixsurs stodd as the Nightwalker pounced on warrior after warrior, and he stood calmly till only him and one other, who was cowering behind him, remained.Ixsurs face looked angered, as he swung his mace behind him, not even looking as it connected with the warriors face, still staring at the Nightwalker he said coldy "cowards are not allowed here," The Nightwalker and Ixsurs stared each other down, until finally the Nightwalker grew impatient and leaped. Ixsurs smiled leaping aside a split second before the Nightwalker hit it. His mace cracking into its skull the next second, he heared a satisfying boom as the mace's power was unleashed. He then turned to the men still in the hallway, staring in awe. Ixsurs smiled, the sort of smirk you get when you know you are finished, but seem to not care, scratching at his mace he looked to the men. "Come, give me a worthy death!" Ixsurs said with a growl, he leaped at the cyrcians.

Later, a man walked into the room, stepping over several dead bodies, making sure to kick on quite hard, he held his left arm which was limp at his side. He walked into the next room, several attendants stared in fear, one holding a baby. He laughed "so this is what that bastard fought to protect," the man said, he was panting, his voice was dry. He snatched the baby from the attendants hands and held it by its arm. "death is not good enough for you, i know exactly what to do with you, Dorsth come here!" A bit of scuffling came from the other room, and soon a portly human in mage robes appeared in the door way. "Yes?" the man spoke "send this little brat to the abyss, let the demons torture him for the rest of his life" the first one spoke. The mage bowed "of course, it may take me awhile, and ill need some open space" use the room you were just at, and take as long as you want" the mage nodded and headed out. The man just stood there, holding his shoulder, "which one of you wants to die first?" he said to the attentdants.

Three days later three people walked out of the house, talking all anyone could hear was "hope the little banite has a fun time"

Many many years later a man sat in the fetal position in the corner of a dirty molden cell, mumbling and mumbling, most of his words were impossible to interperate, but he kept repeating one word, Ix. A small demon came to the door of his cell, "time for fun!" it said in a high voice. The man looked up and smiled, he laughed, kept on laughing and laughing and laughing. "FOOL" he yelled and lept at the demon, strangling it to death. "time for escape" as he punched the demon for good measure. A path he carefully remembered, an item he knew the exact location, a command he knew the exact words to. He reached the room, found the item and spoke the command, Laughing as he finished "FREE, FREE, FREEEEE!!!!!" he yelled. He dissapeered, teleporting back into the world he rightfully belonged.

A naked man appeared smack in the middle of Suzail. He was dirty, his hair was unkept, a long beard hanged from his chin, nearly reaching his gut. Yet, all of his hair was dark red, every last hair that covered him. An unnatural red, the perfect color of blood. He looked around, paranoid of everyone, as one person walked near him he turned and snarled at him. "thats right walk away" he taunted him, yet the man didnt react, The passer by simply ignored him. The red haired man looked around till someone threw a copper at him. "Get some clothes scum!" someone taunted, The blood haired man whirled around, looking for the source, as he found him he leaped at the man. Growling an infernal rage he pounded the man's face till nothing remained but a featureless mush of brain. "Watch what you attack!" he yelled. At this he realized that he was being surrounded, and several of the people had weapons. "They seek to hurt me even here!" he yelled, everybody cringed, as if he was speaking blasfhemey. Several of the men stepped forwar, all of them wore identical outfits, and all of them had spears and all of them yelled gibberish. The red haired man looked at his most recent kill, searching for some sort of weapon, he found a dagger. "Cmon" he taunted "Let me taste your blood!" Still the men advanced, a worried look on their faces. "Far enough!" he yelled and began to attack the nearest with his dagger stabbing it unrelentignly at the guard until he was pulled off from behind. He whirled around to face his new target, before he could see who it was something hit him in the back of the head, hard. All the man saw was blackness.

Awhile later, the man oppended his eyes. "where in the abyss am I" he muttered. "Suzail" a deep voice came from outside, "and you just may see its streets yet if you cooperate" this time the man could understand him. "Finally someone who speaks!" the red haired man proclaimed, "actually, you are the one who does not speak, at least our language," The mysterious man stepped out, right behind the rails. "I am Korsht, cleric of bane, and you seem to know the ways of our church, as do your scars match the name of someone we miss nearly" "huh?" the dirty man replied. Look at the top of your wrist, what does it say?" "Ix" newcomer stated. "we once had an officer" the man from outside said "by the name of Ixsurs, he was one of our greatest warriors, and he was said to have fallen to a group of cyricists during the departure of pain, Slain right after his baby was born" "So you are saying that I am his son?" the apparent son of Ixsurs questioned. "Implying" said Korsht"Is more what im getting at, you very well could be, but due to your show, you have proven to be a decent candidate for the worship of Bane, at the least" the banite candidate answered "ive heard a bit about Bane, but not enough, tell me, what is his clergy like?"

Later, the newcomer walked out of the prison, with Korsht beside him, this time he was fully clothed. "So", Korsht said "Have you a name" the man thought, then spoke, "When I was in the abyss, they called me Ix, i think ill keep it", "Very well" Korsht declared "Welcome to Faerun Ix".

Many years later Ix walked into Korsht's room, this time, he had a bit more clean hair, he spoke common perfectly, and knew quite a bit about the world around him. "You wished to see me?" he said, Korsht, who had been looking out the window, turned and spoke "There is a land near here, It is known as Narfell, it lacks any major faith, and is wrought with corruption, raids, bandits and the like, it seems to be worth looking into, i have sent a few people to the area already, but i would like to send you as well, usually we only send clerics, but your devotion and skill has landed you this task, im assuming you accept?", "I do" was Ix's simple response. "Good, an escort is already waiting outside, they will take you within about three days journy, the rest will be yours to finish" Korsht stated, as Ix left the building he smiled. "Finally, something to do!"
