::New rumours heard in the Mermaid::

The red-haired woman known to some as Melody can be seen excitedly telling a tale of how they went into a kobold cave, hoping to find kobold treasure and met one of their bards. But the bard sang so horribly that with his death throes he brought to life the four elements fire, earth, air and water and the greatest of their agents on the small group of sisterhood adventurers. Brave as they were, the sisters defeated those terrible threats and made sure no bad befell anyone and this bard would never again raise his voice to call forth such evil things.

Early in the evening, the peace of the civic distict is disturbed by a raged shout, those who were attracted by the commotion beheld the lovely barbarian woman Maya as she carried of the similarly lovely songstress Demi from the Temple of Tyr to the Defenders Headquarters, former magistrate and senatorial candidate Zyphlin in tow, followed by a somewhat distressed number of the local clergy…

Sir Richard Luis is seen gathering suplies for himself and saying farewell to all those that he knows. Rumors spread that he will be gone due to looking for architects for the new orphanage. Lady Ocean and Sir Richard will be interviewing all architects with in city limits and those in near by towns and regions.

The red-haired travellor creates a slight ruckus when a misunderstanding due to dialect causes barmaids to bring him a bucket, a bowl of peas, a small goat, and a pouch of marbles. Stomach growling, Red heads out of the city to take out his anger on the kobolds, and his hunger on an unfortunate krenshaw…whose meat was terrible, by the way.
Returning to the inn a day later, he tosses a crippled beggar a handful of coins to give him an overview of local people and events, and then attempts to determine who is hiring that is least unsavory.

Roland Brynmor, Shannon D'Arneau, and Natanya, can be seen exiting the city morgue. They are barely able to stand - covered with blood and some type of ichor that is not readily placeable. They limp towards the Temple and disappear within.

It seems the new Senator Ashald has wasted no time in following his cousin's example, gosip already tells of meeting young women in the side streets of the Civic district.

On a more recent visit to the city and to City hall, Cyrian was seen carrying all of his personal posessions, later in the evening he was seen entering the mermaid Inn and requesting a room for long term stay

There is this vague rumor that a man that looked not unlike Rath Ashald was seen running screaming around the Civic district, chased by no other then Senator Roland Brynmor, holding his hands out in a strangling fashion, shouting something in the form of "When I get my hands on you, I'll…"

Rumor has it there was some shouting and arguing coming from Nico Black’s apartment. Someone was obviously banging at the door as well, and the whole episode was punctuated by a horrifying shriek. It was said Nico appeared in town later, but was obviously shaken.
In other rumors, it’s been mentioned that Yolande has appeared in the commons, her usual blue and multicolored robes now black and gold.

A burly man shoulders his large pack on a hoisting-pole as he shambles through the front gates. He keeps his face locked straight ahead as he passes through the commons, his heavy armor jumbling beneath the plain cassock he has tossed over it. Slowly he makes his way through the city to the large governmental building, and emerges half an hour later, his one free hand clenching a scroll angrilly as he carries his possessions even farther across the city, until he stands before the steep steps to the Great Temple.
With a reluctant sigh, he starts up the steps, his moustache dipping with every step, until he reaches the main landing. Looking to the acolyte on greeting duty, the dull eyes shaded from the sun show little life as he addresses the young priest.
"Ey comb teh affer me 'ammer in sarvice teh th' pratectar an' lawgivvir."
As he heads into the cooler recesses of the temple, his heavy footsteps on the stone floor never pause, never slow to look back.

Cyrian of the Norwick militia was seen entering and leaving the City Hall lately, he stayed in the city for a brief time afterwards before leaving again, though his visits to the city are exceptionally rare he was pleasant company for the time he had visited

A man found alive after 6 months some how the excutioner of Peltarch found a hidden a esape tunnel in the old prison that opened to a maze he only took 20 steps in before the roof came down and blocked the way he enter he was lost under the city but how can some one have lived that long is the question…

A disturbing rumor spreads quickly among the tight knit dwarven community. It seems the reason for the riot was that the guard sergeant slit the throat of one of the dwarves in his sleep.
Additionally they are asking for a dwarven priest to raise the fallen dwarf.
Krig Skullboil makes it known that he'd gladly help in the name of Tempus.
Dwin Dolvak leaves word for both Magistrate Barrim and Senator Roland that he wil gladly pay to transport the lad's corpse to the Dwarven Temple in Jiyyd. His goal is that he might be raised in a manner which the Soul Forger 'imself would approve of. He also confirms that Krig Skullboil, Priest of Tempus, Councilor of the Mighty Council of Moradin, and Friend to All will himself raise the poor murdered lad.

Roland is seen leaving the city during the night with a good number of commoners, including women and children. A knight in Divine Shield armor accompanies them. Those who live in the docks know that most of them are Brynmors or other close relatives. Roland is back in the city by morning.

_Natanya (who also like Maya has been sighted dressed up, with her hair done, and in fancy outfits), has certainly made a few eyebrows rise lately, with her unusual behaviour.
She seem happy, which in itself wouldn't be odd, if in this dark and stressed out city, happiness seem to come in tiny sealed dosages.
She is seen running around the kobold hills barefooted, rushing off to bath in the local lakes - even supposedly in the nude, spend nights gazing at the stars, have picnics in the grassy edge of the commons, wear flowers in her hair, and generally just smile and giggle at the most minor of things.
Roland, and Shannon seem to express a great concern for her well-being, and the old senator has been wanting to get his hands on the Paladin for a long talk, ASAP - though currently too occupied with paperwork regarding the election.
When asked about it, she just giggle and says_
"Isn't it obvious? The world is a wonderful place, with fascinating people, and fantastic landscape. We all have the individual opportunity to make the best of it, create our own happiness. Tyr make me feel loved, and I have faith in his wisdom."
Yup, pretty annoyingly sickening, rumors circles it might have been something she ate or drank, or maybe she finally has properly snapped.

Rumor has it that Maya was seen in of all things, a dress. The barmaids in the Mermaid report that it was a rustic dark red skirt and top arrangement, elegant yet simple. Her hair was washed and braided, the black feathers in a tasteful arrangement in the back. She was sitting down with the priest of Torm Shannon D’Arneau over dinner. Shannon appeared to be his usual quiet self, while Maya appeared more animated and talkative than usual. A few whispered and wondered what Arien Ashald would think of this.

Peter Stokabo can be seen giving earnest thanks at the altar in the temple of Tyr.
If asked why he, a devoted Oghmite, would pray to Tyr, Peter responds by telling of how he stumbled through the lizardfolk lands half-conscious and gravely wounded, hauling the body of a fallen comrade on his back… Only to fall dead in front of several Defenders at the South Gate of the Civic District. A kindly priest of Tyr heard of the brutal slayings, and raised both Peter and his companion from the dead. In lieu of personal thanks, the priest told Peter to offer his gratitude to Tyr.
