    She was young. Born in a rich family, she was sent to the best school of magic of the city. She was teached organization, she was teached respect and she was teached obedience.
    María had a slight speech problem. She never was able to pronunce the sound "r" propertly, and some children laughed at her because of that.
    But…there's was one child, that payed no attention to that speech problem. She'd meet him everytime she went with her parents to the market. The child, was the son of a poor family, a vendor of clothes.
    María liked to talk to that child while her parents weren't looking, they always said that she should not treat with people of low class.
    One day, María scaped home and went to the market...It was 3 days she hadn't seen his friend, and she could not wait more to see him.
    The child was sitting, leaning at his fathers legs, eating a small piece of bread. First move when he saw her, was a smile, second move, offer a piece of bread.
    She realized that was all he had to offer to her...a piece of bread...and a smile. Wasn't that just enough?
    After she refused kindly the offer, María and the child went for a walk, and while they were talking about the difference of their families, he kissed her in the lips soft and once.
    At the very moment, personal guards of the family of María, appeared. They had been looking for her the whole day, and they promtly acused the child of being guilty of everything.
    When she arrived home, she told her parents that the child had no guilt. She choosed freely to scape home and go look for him...sadly, her parents were not disposed to admit such relation...and they sent a message to the captain of their guards.

    Two days later, as any other friday, they went to the market, this time, when María walked past his friends shop-tent...he wasn't there. The father of the disapeared child, jumped over the table of his shop weilding a dagger, runing towards Marías parents, but the halberd of a guard met his heart first...making him fall to the ground spliting blood.
    María quickly kneeled near his friends father, and asked him about his son. The last words of that poor man...were... "they took him away"...and with his last effort, he pointed to Marías parents.
    Shocked and scared, María started to cry, and asked her parents why and where did they bring her friend. As only answer, her mother said "you can't treat with such scum".

    And that's the last she heard from her parents. María was 16...and the last information she gathered about the possible place that his friend was sent....brought her to Narfell.

    Will she be able to find her true love?....
