Recruit Brakrum reports to Davos the Redcloak having chased a "flimsy blonde man" out of town. The man came running into town with a water elemental trailing him. He admitted to controlling the elemental, but did not unsummon it even after getting several warnings. Another person who was on site was fascinated by the elemental, and when the elemental dissappeared, the man proceeded to summon another one, likely to show off his summonings to the man. The elemental was summoned from something that looked like a bowl. Brakrum then proceeded to let him know that he should get rid of it at once or leave town. The man then seemed to get very scared, though Brakrum professes he did not bare weapons, nor do anything more than perhaps raise his voice a tiny bit. The man sprinted out of town with the elemental tailing. The offender was later seen coming into town heavily wounded, without the elemental.

While being questioned on the situation as a witness, Caelian Thunderhawk admits to being the traveler that was fascinated by the elemental, and verifies that everything Brakrum says is true.
