Jay - Wrong Place, Wrong Time

_One mornin' I got up, thinkin it'd be a normal day of liftin' boxes and what not for the ol' merchants. Boy, did I think wrong.
Some lass came up to me after work, known her awhile and her name's not important, she was sayin' I got a handsome face fer just a labor boy. I thanked her politely, and said I outta be gettin' home. Though she insisted on havin' a drink with me. Ain't gunna turn down a pretty lass, that's for sure.
We got to the inn, started havin' drinks. Did the usual flirtin' and what not. She asked me to come upstairs, and well, I didn' hesitate. We got to doin' what most couples do when alone in an inn room. Though, durin' the middle of it, the door was kicked open.
Now, it was kicked open by a particular fella who I owed about 2000 gold to. Gamblin's my weakness. He's some sorta boss of a local gang in Hoarsgate, real nasty type of guy. Turns out, this particular girl I was sleepin' with was his girl. Eh, yeah, I -mighta- known she was his girl, but 'ey as I said… ain't gunna pass up a pretty lass.
Anyway, he was pissed, started comin' at me while I was naked. I jumped my bare arse right out the window... the upstairs window. Landed some merchant's fruit stand, and again, I'm naked. I grabbed whatever I could from that stand, which was a melon, and the merchant's sword, along with his gold coins... looks like the merchant was pissed at me too now. Me life was on the line!
Yeah, so.. I ran and ran, and got some tattered clothes off one of those strings that they use to hang clothes to dry. Guess the owners of those are gunna be pissed at me too. Ran and ran, till I found the port.. hopped onto a random boat, threw the merchant's coins at the captain and told him he can keep all that if he left right now to Peltarch. Yeah, he agreed... 'pparently there was alotta gold in that pouch.
As we set sail, the gang boss came runnin' up, yellin' "Now ya owe me double, and don' come back till ya have it all!"
Yeah... like I plan on comin' back._
Meanwhile…
At the docks, the gangboss stood shaking his fist at the boat until it was out of sight. His "girl" came up to him with a smile on her face.
"I think we got him, Jacky."
Jacky turned to the woman, smirking..
"Right good scam that one, works everytime… could use the extra gold anyway. Good work Nance.. you get extra pay this week. He'll be back to visit 'home' with the gold ready to be paid. If not, no loss.. he's a bit of a moron."
With that, they turned away from the port, Jacky swatting Nance's butt as they walked away.. she giggling merrily as he does so.
