Escorted by adventurers and Jiyyd and Norwick officials, caravans containing the entire civilian population of Jiyyd rumble into Norwick through the north gate.
The weary refugees bed down in the Dwarven Hold, Temple of Kelemvor, and in tents in West Norwick.

_In red robes, the monk Yu Shei arrives with the other monks from the Four Winds Monastery. Their numbers are few, but the halfling monks of the Hin-Fist seem prepared to do what they can to aid the refugees.
For her part, Yu Shei is seen often coming and going through the Norwick gates._

Colonel Mord and be seen approaching the refugees and requesting their aid in setting up defenses for the town. Mainly in taking the limbs from trees and sharpening the ends. these to be 4' to 6' in length and at least as big around as a man's wrist. These to be then tied together to help form the barricades to slow and funnel the enemies advance. The limbs to be provided from the eastern hills of Norwick.

Some refugees from the Silver Valley take advantage of Z's offer. Ginger and Gears have raised their tent near the stream on Z's farm. Guard dog Max seems excited to see the familiar hins and starts sniffing around the cookpot for scraps.

None seem interested… unsurprisingly, those of Jiyyd willing to fight are back in Jiyyd, making ready to defend their own town.

Red Cloaked Norwick Guards start asking refugees if any of them would be willing to fight for the Grand Southern Nars Militia. Good pay, food, and a chance to get back at some of the enemies that have been ravaging our region–these are the promises made.
Any willing refugees are told to report to the Barracks where a bottle of ale and a red cloak will be waiting for them.

At the behest of her superiors and in her off-duty hours, Sela has been attending to the refugees' needs, bringing what food and water she can spare. She keeps looking for her family in the huddled masses but has yet to find them….

Z opens his farm (house and barn) to as many refugee families as he can. Those families with young children and/or elderly members get first priority.
