Kirk D'nale

  • Account Name : KingCreeper
    Character Name : Kirk D'nale

Ordained Sir Kirk D'nale, holy warrior or paladin in Lawful service to Tyr. A handsome man by anyone's standards with stormy gray eyes and classical brown hair. He has all his teeth although there is a silver cap on his upper left canine.

He has no scars on his face - the main reason being that he wears a helm typical of a rider or man-at-arms. Tall as any man, taller still by his authority and presence perhaps. His body is what you'd expect of a young knight, firm and able with no sign of failing health. He has dark hair on his forearms and chest.

He speaks firmly, but is always clear and without harmful intent. There is nothing gruff of angry in his tone. He always has fond words and memories to share of Tethyr and in particular the city of Darromar. He comes with the blessed word of Tyr that he will do all in his power to bring justice back to Narfell. A bold promise for one man.

He wears no holy tattoo or trinkets, but carries his holy symbol, a ceremonious longsword as Tyr favours. When not performing rituals, offering guidance or acting as judge in a court of law - Kirk D'nale fights alongside other good knights and well-do'er adventurers.

His battlegear is well taken care of, his war-hammer is heavy as the burden of war that all who demand justice must carry.

Kirk grew up well and was raised by the right kind of people. Even before he went off by his own accord to become a knight, he was well versed in codes of honour and chivalry from the tales of bards and encouragement from his parents. He filled the boots well when the time came. A young lad of just seventeen granted the allowance to sit as Judge in an important case involving land and livestock.

It was by his sound judgement that the court settled the case fairly for all sides. No-one felt hard done to that day and by his next year he was fully ordained. His oath was sworn on steel, the holy words were read from the engraved blade.

"Let justice be brought swiftly to end tyranny in His name."

His words of oath continued to his personal promises and duties of self.
He swore to maintain law and to act as judge when required.
To protect the ones who could not protect themselves.
To include his enemies in his prayers that they may be honoured in death.
To be brave when others would cower.
To do only good in Tyr's name.

These words were sworn and have been reflected upon in his mind since that day. He thinks on them when he needs guidance, and offers them to others who have lost their way. He kissed his mother goodbye and set off on his pilgrimage, he travelled far and wide acting as judge and settling administrative matters, less and less frequently he reached for his warhammer to smite evil and instead held the gavel. His path was drawing him elsewhere, he knew it…

Although fatigued from the long road when he arrived in Jiyyd, Kirk soon heard of the many dark things plaguing Narfell - it's time for him to face evil enemies, and the greatest tests to his word.
