*In a flurry of activity, Lyte, First Seat of Safety of Jiyyd, is seen to be spending a lot of extra time in the far farmlands east of Jiyyd, with a team of Legionier workers, sprucing up and adding reinforcements to the guard outpost already located there across from Dwin's farm.
One day, she travels out there with a small birdcage in hand.
It is unknown if this is lunch, or company for the guards posted in this quiet, but now rather heavily guarded spot.*
A detachment of dragoons, the size of a platoon arrive at the construction sites to stand guard. They say they were here under orders of Captain Dietrick to reinforce and guard the construction until it is over, then they will return back to the valley.

A big half-orc in Legion colors answers the door with a big toothy grin on his face and lets Akane inside.

A hin by the name of Akane who can be seen doing laps around Jiyyd and has been extensively using the legion orc combat dummy, knocks on the legion hall door and asks.
What’s involved in joining? And um… Sorry about the combat dummy, I didn’t expect it's pole to break! I’ll get it fixed truly!

*General Lyte is seen to be increasing the numbers of Legion troops at the western and eastern most defenses of Jiyyd, out on the hill near the sisters, and accross from Dwin's farm near the icy road.
A large gong has appeared at each of these strategic positions, as well as…of all things, small bird cages, apparently for the amusement of the guards there.
Inside the town walls, Jus'tine and the militia seem more on guard than is normal during these more peaceful years, patrolling a bit more seriously than usual.
To Jiyyd's inhabitants, nothing seems to really be any different. No big attacks have taken place, but apparently the Legion and the Militia have information of concern, and are acting as if something serious is on the wind.*

nods to Grak his dribble making sense for once… Good points...she redirects her steps back the way she came and takes the plains into Mintas woods instead of heading through Jiyyd, her mangled heads clicking and bouncing behind her...
[edit] Those entering the mintas woods from the central plains notice a slow progression of severed bugbear heads dangling from random tree limbs…

Grak is just coming out of Jiyyd's inn, when he sees Telli and those heads she is dragging
"Oi, dem shorty should be puts in chains! Such foolish act surely brings another assault into our walls and probably ends lives of some puny farmers. If female wants to play strong warrior, female skirts far from dem town. That ways, fat-females tracks wouldnt lead vermins warparty's here.
