+1 armor check penalty means it 1 has been added to a negative armor check penalty so +1 hide, move silently, parry, tumble and whatever other dex based skill there was
so in effect of the mw dak hide saying +2 hide +1 acp
is the same as +3 hide, +1 move silently, tumble, parry etc
