Dragoon force out and back

Amid all the recent troubles, Dietrick leads out a platoon of twenty odd dragoons one early morning. They return a days later badly injured and fewer than the original number that left. Their armours badly beaten out of shape, blood all over, burnt marks scarring them. Word has it a grand battle had been fought, sacrifices made, but the reward: the freedom of many enslaved hins!
