The Stranger

  • ICC

A robed figure can be seen asking around for an 'Allanon', also known as the 'Green Knight'.

  • Mord purses his lips at the news eyes staring off into the distance

    ((PM sent))

  • ICC

The figure has returned after a lengthy absence, and he puts out the word that he would like to speak with Deacon Sterr and Mord Cabro.

  • //It seems my PMs have not been getting through…

  • ICC

People around Oscura catch wind of the next man the robed figure mentions: Quin Reyer. It's a well known fact the figure can be met at the Well of Souls or near the Shiny Coppers if any desire to meet him.

  • ICC

The robed figure lets it be known he'd like to speak with Luke Leathertail, John Isle, 'Butterfly' and Elidur the Bard as soon as they are able to meet him in the Shiny Coppers.

((We can do this IG or via PM. PM is easier for me because of the upcoming wedding, but if IG is better for you we can work out a time))

  • ICC

The figure reappears after a week of silence and hiding. He lets it be known that those he's taken into his confidence are to meet him again, one at a time. He'll seek them out in Oscura as soon as possible.

  • A black garbed figure does so.

  • ICC

The masked figure returns, and asks for all those he spoke to to meet him as soon as possible. He'll be by the Shiny Coppers.

  • ICC

The robed figure and a few of his retainers approach Cray and ask him to accompany them into a more…..private....place where they can speak freely.

((Finish this off via PM so the forum lurkers don't find out more than they need to. They can wait their turn.))

  • _Lately Cray has been seen sitting in the park in Oscura for extended periods smoking and reading.

If the stranger has asked the locals about Mr. Vincint, they will say Cray is generally a very easy man to find, as well as being very approachable. A fact that is rumored to be a testament to his honor and discretion in handling matters of business. Though none of these people can say for certain what Cray's business is, however it is common knowledge that Cray is no adventurer. If you find anyone willing to talk furthur about Cray's business they can only speculate about Cray's source of income. These guesses will run the gamut from smuggling, espionage, drug dealing, assasination, and so on.

There are some that will claim to know him well and they'll say Cray is simply a man who eeks out a living gambling and identifying items for adventurers. These people will say that he lives a very transparent, modest lifestyle and that he is certainly no key player in the underworld, or in Narfell at all for that matter._

  • ICC

The figure returns to sit by the Statue, asking those who go near him about Cray Vincint (Correct last name?) and if he'd be interested in a meeting. He can be reached by the Well of Souls, and will wait a week before giving up on Cray.

  • ICC

After waiting a few days for Nicahh and Senria, the figure starts to inquire about the local churches and their Patriarch/Matriarchs.

  • ICC

The figure seems utterly confident in his statement. So do the men tactfully placed around him.

  • learning of this persons assurance that 'no harm will come to them' a cold feminine chuckle is heard issued from the shadows.

  • ICC

After a short leave, the figure returns, now asking to see 'Lady Nicahh' and 'Captain Senria'. He spreads the rumor that he will await them outside the Shiney Coppers if they wish to show up. He also states that no harm will come to them while they converse.

  • ICC

The figure asks locals if they know anybody skilled in the shadier arts of the world…..namely assassinations. He also lets it be known that he has a special job for any willing to come forth.

  • Often unseen, though known when she is wanted, Captain Senria of the PeaceKeepers watches this figure silently from her favorite haunts in the shadows around Oscura. For now she is content simply to watch and see what this character truly wants

  • People on the street will likely be quick to note that Oscura isn't ruled by a monarch, or any sort of hereditary succession (at least not in theory), but rather by a panel of self-electing elders called the Tribunal.

  • ICC

The figure inquires about the local people in power, the monarchy of Oscura.
