Insane Rawlin's wood creatures

  • The redheaded bard Mareann spreads a tale of daring do by a group of adventures near the fires and sundials of the various towns. Her tale is as follows.

We were down by the lake south of old norwick. When this GIANT lizard some call a stegadon shows up. There were apes too. They are these big hairy men look like Grag only with lots more hair. They were tough too like Grag, but black and hairy. Just looking at the stegadon inspired fear though and so we beat a hasty retreat to Norwick. We found two fellows there a man named Rush and an elf named Val'istar. So Growt the guardsman and myself and the other two set off for the druid's glen.

Why you might say the druid's glen? Because odd lights had been seen in the sky over the glen. Thinking it maybe under attack or besieged by insane animals we braved the old Norwick graveyard. Stronger undead than usual were there too. The animals have gone crazy though. Fighting anyone that moves sometimes even the druids.

We made it to the glen and two things everyone should know before they enter the Rawlins: 1. there are at least 5 stegadon out in those woods. 2. the animals are trying to restore the balance after all the taint to the woods. We should likely try not to get killed by tangling with them. They are mostly all much larger than normal too.

We made it back to town with the help of the druids of the circle and decided to play it safe and stay there.

Mare grins widely that is my story.

It's quite exhilarating to have a big lizard thing breathing down the back of your shirt as you run… says rush, He scratches behind one of his pointy ears before racing off.
