Cherry and Aramuil's First Child

  • Aramuil appears to be in a much better than mood than usual; apparently Cherry recently gave birth to a little girl whom they have named Arel'in. Aramuil himself is often visiting the Norwick Apothecary where Cherry and his daughter are recovering and resting for a time. After a few weeks, Cherry and and the little girl are seen about Norwick and the Gypsy Camp.

  • Cherry smiles and obliges Lycka with all the daunting and gruesome details. The 23 hour plus labor, the almost year long term of carrying Arel'in. How she's never felt more tied in her life afterward and the couple weeks after, yet wouldn't trade it for anything.

The questions go both ways, with Cherry wanting to now everything about Lycka's baby-to-be. Offering to share any clothes Arel'in outgrows if Lycka's turns out to be a girl., and offering to babysit, once the babe is born.

She grins at Raghild, promising, Arel'in may be born of elven blood and both parents mages, but she has a little warrior blood in her too. Arel'in's great-grandfather, Coin once a mighty human warrior of this very region.

  • Ragnhild and Lycka both make sure to visit Cherry and the lavender-haired newborn, both smiling widely as they congratulate the parents and coo over little Arel'in. Ragnhild offers a bit of sage, maternal advice, such as learning the habit of tying one's hair back lest Arel'in's fists are as fond of pulling out her parents hair as Lycka's were. She grins wide, eyes soft and warm as she strokes the baby's wispy hair gently, then offers the child a tiny, light wooden hammer, whispering:

"Never too earli lern good swing, littel one. Someone in famili need know proper skills, huh?"

_She winks conspiratorially to the infant before giggling merrily, clearly not very serious in the jest.

Lycka, now noticibly pregnant herself, admires the baby with a beaming smile and hugs Cherry before bombarding the new mother with a thousand questions about the birth._

  • Occasionally Cera is seen looking after the infant. The great-grandmother babysitting for a couple hours here and there. Mostly Cherry is never seen without Arel'in, who seems to have her mother's unnatural hair and eye color. Not that Arel'in has anything more than a swirly wisp of hair yet anyway.
