Selvan Jen'Sinn Ambrose was born in Luskan, at the city's height of crime and violence. He learned how to survive, day after day, by hiding from potential thugs. Developing his skills, Selvan became a remarcable spy and informant for a local street gang. Though useful to their cause, the members of the gang treated him like scum, thus forcing Sylvan to bottle up his rage.
One night, the elf decided to come uninvited to one of the gang's parties. Their leader, a smug thief called Pravus Veru, ordered his men to give him a harsh beating and then throw him into the pool. Selvan heard his cruel laughter during the punishment, and something inside him snapped.
He followed Veru to his home, where he sneaked in and stabbed the gang leader with a poisoned dagger several times before throwing him out the window. Unfortunately, there were witnesses to this incident, who were later hunted down and eviscerated by Selvan. The tormented elf spent the next few years killing anyone linked to the death of Veru, witness or investigator. The constant chain of murders was soon known as the Pravus Cycle, which persists to this very day.
Few knew that Sevan was responsible for the Cycle, and those who did hired him as a bounty hunter and assassin. The elf's style of murder was soon reknown; coating his weapons with poison and fighting with two weapons became his key signatures. He was always clad in a black leather suit of armor which triggered the use of his code name: The Black Scorpion.
Over the years, his status changed because of involvement in different wars, but his hunger for power persisted…
To that end he learned to use the dark arts in order to leech the life out of his opponents, making him stronger with every kill. With these new powers, he arrived in Narfell for a little rest and relaxation...or maybe not...
