Maya and Yana Depart

  • With backpacks and bedrolls on, Maya and Yana say goodbye to their friends in Norwick. Yana seems both excited and nervous, while Maya’s face reveals mixed emotions. Hugs and a few tears are passed about, before Maya and Yana turn north to face adventures outside the lands of Narfell. If asked if and when she plans on returning, Maya simply shrugs and replies, “When Tempus wills”.

_OOC – I am taking a break from Narfell. I don’t know for how long. I may be on from time to time with other miscellaneous characters, and I will still keep tabs in the forums. My regular playing hours however, have pretty much ended.

Good luck to all of you.

  • Clad in her heavy armour of silver, black, and red, Albryanna escorts the duo to the realm border, a look of sorrow creasing her young face. Giving her final warewells, she embraces Maya in a hug, whispering in her ear.

Norwick shall never forget what you have done for us.

With that, she snaps a sharp salute and remains transfixed where she stands as the two disappear into the distance before solemnly returning to the barracks.

((Thanks for all the good times Robyn. I'm really glad to have been given the opportunity to hang out with you. Best of luck where ever you go and whatever you do, and hope to see you around some day. We'll all miss you.))

  • *Lyte is walking towards Norwick as Maya and her young charge walk out, and she seems to immediately grasp the situation for what it is.

She stops, bows her head a bit as the two pass, and quietly speaks.*

"May Tempus once again Bless these lands on some future day, as he has done these past years. We all will miss you."

She stays there long after they are gone, as if lost in thought.

  • Zyphlin smiles at her as she says goodbye, embracing her in a big hug and slipping something into her hand….a tymoran coin, connected to a necklace made of a twist of blue, grey, and orange thread.

((Enjoy your time away, and hope to see you wander back in time. You know we all do anyways 😉 ))

  • Council of Moradin

Farly gives a nod of respect to Maya as he sees her go

Now there goes one Id fight alongside any day.

  • ICC

Bagnar stands near his kinfolk and watches her depart, a strange look on his face before he shrugs and walks back towards the hold.

((See you sometime in the future, Wolf. Have fun.))

  • The Chancellor and several of his fellow kin watch the pair leave. As they pass by, they raise their axes, hammers, and in a few cases ales to the departing duo in a show of honor.

There goes a fine warrior and an even better person. We wont see the likes of her in this Realm anytime soon. May the Soulforger watch over her and her daughter.

    [d]Long Live Maya!

((I am really going to miss your Journal updates, they were some of the best reading in these forums. I'm glad to have shared some good times with you over the years. Best of luck!))

  • The Halfling Defence League

Dietrick hopples around and along with the two as they depart all the way to the north gates. His face turns to a dumbfounded one with a tiny hint of sadness as they continue pass the gates.

  • _A large male wood elf with a heavy heart and a lithe female halfling with tears in her eyes discreetly and separately follow the pair as far as the Icelace in a silent, sorrowful and loving farewell escort, each recognizing with profound sadness how much smaller their worlds are now without the beautiful blonde barbarian's infectious smile and laughter, and how much richer their lives were for having had her in them.

The two escorters, not being particularly skilled, never cross paths or become aware of each other, and remain completely ignorant of each other's existence._

((Take care, Wolfhere. Thanks for the good times.))

  • The Halfling Defence League

Gears watches Maya and her young charge leave with a slight crease in his forehead. Once they are out of sight, the shadows nearby him stretch out and cover him before flattening back to their normal positions, leaving nothing behind.

//It was a pleasure playing with you Wolf. Glad Gears got to hang out with Maya on a bit more of a personal level before she left. Goodbye for however long it may be.

  • A figure in a glimmering white shroud can be seen to watch the duo depart from the gates; when they are completely out of sight it disappears in a bolt of lightning.
