Rumors in the Grapevine
-
((Since we have a new inn, I thought starting a new rumor thread set in the Grapevine would be appropriate.))
The town is abuzz with rumors that there is a conspiracy to kill the Senior Advisor Arcane Aramuil Holimion. Some claim that a cabal of evil mages wish him dead, others say demon worshippers and still others say Peltarch-based thieves. Of course, some say that nobody could possibly want to kill the helpful elf and go back to their drinks.
-
After returning with the elven mage and going together with him to the apothecary, Gears was seen leaving alone and looking both tired and angry, sometime after Aramuil himself had already exited.
-
Aramuil Holimion has returned, in a foul mood, at least initially. He initially spends the next few days with his wife Cherry, before trying to set other things in order.
-
Aramuil Holimion seems to have disappeared after going out to speak to the shade-creature that threatens Norwick alone. Many are worried, and the militia seem to be on-edge…

Aleum Kumma, mage and ex-Keeper of Spellweaver Keep has lately been spotted quite often at the town, trying to find someone who would be considered as trustworthy and have excellent skills in tanning or animal stuffing.
".. and indeed. I wonder if I remembered to mention it, but open minded the master tanner should be, as extraordinary would the task for him be indeed".
He also remember to inform those who he talk about it that if someone who fits in description is found and interested, Aleum could be contacted with message left in to the Keep. ((pm to me))

remains of small campfires can be found south of norwick, where the old walls used to be. a new one appears every other day or so.
also recently the remains of smaller goblins wandering to close to norwick can be spotted in that same area.

_Cherry lay perfectly still in catatonia for weeks, either groaning or mumbling nonsense in response to being moved. Her body would keep most any position it was move into, taking hours before she would shift position again on her own. It was not pretty to watch the drool dribble out and down her cheek.
She was moved from the Grapevine back to the Camp and taken under her grandmother Cera's care. Cera looked after her catatonic granddaughter until she finally broke from her state all these weeks later.
Though Cherry can now feed herself and is what you might call alert and responsive, she now makes her grandmother sound lucid and rational by comparison._
