The Dryad Lumberjack Hunt

The timbercutters of the Rom have learned that the bottom-most and far-eastern portion of the Hidden Pass has been set with numerous traps.
The green elf known as the Watcher by most of the Rom (and Kharbeh by a few) has let them know that she is trying to trap a darkling (drow elf) that has been coming up from the chasms in that portion of the pass and poisoning the water near there. And that this foul creature's purpose is to weaken the wood nymph's tree through poisoning its water and thus allow the drow to harvest her wood without a struggle!
She also mentioned to them that she is looking for a few more nimble-bodied adventurers to brave the depths of the chasm and hunt down this viscious spider elf and put an end to it's evil desecration of the dryad before the next dark moon (since that is when the drow tend to come up to the surface… when it is darkest).
((OOC... this has been brewing for a bit. Hopefully we can lure Riverthorn back to host this event. And to let you all know... the drow that I have encountered thus far have been pretty powerful... so anyone wanting in on this... get your lifejackets on... there are choppy seas ahead!))
