  • Name: Shane Andryl

    **Levels:**Paladin 12

    Positions: None

Home: Jiyyd Temple of Helm - Barracks

Time on Narfell: since July 2003

    Historical Possessions:

    Shane's Wedding Ring
This is a simple golden ring, with small inlays of copper, signifying her marriage to the mage Bottesini Lichmar. Both her own ring, and the one of her husband, held a minimal Whispering Wind enchantment which allowed them to remain in contact on their own travels.

    Andryl Seal Ring (Bull's Strength(3) 3/day)
Paid for pretty heavy through a messenger from Cormyr. Shane still uses this ring to seal any documents, signifying them as her own. The ring itself is a heavy crested ring, bearing the heraldry of her family: an upright sword lain over 2 crossed roses.

Fine Tower Shield (AC +1, Con +1)
Acquired at the end of Covah's Black Hand plots. She's ironically named the shield "Fate's Choice", though both the name and reason she generally keeps to herself. A great item in itself, it's been the cause of some unintended suicides already with stupidly unequipping it at near death. Never had so much fun with a silly con item yet, but a great way to keep attentive ^^.

    Shane's Clothes (reskinned, mundane clothing)
Shane's very first "imported custom", this is a set of red clothes trimmed with gold. While they seem to have been of decent quality, currently they do look a bit out of fashion.

Helmite Armor of Command (Cha +2, 10/- Fire resist)
Shane's most prized item, this armor bears it's own history from a great, albeit pretty painful and resource-draining event to test her faith and determination with Helm. Upon succeeding, this armor was her reward.

    Headdress (Cha +1, Concentration +3)
This helm was originally part of a treasure cache of a band of trolls that had overrun a small town. It's been altered a time or two to keep in line with changing item rules and have it look a bit better.

    Trivaenstel (Bastard Sword +1)
Paid for with a Greatsword +1 and an extra fee in exchange for the customization.
This sword has belonged to Shane's family for generations. The sword itself has the word Trivaenstel engraved on the blade, and was gifted to one of her forebearers in reward for deeds renderred. Shane takes a strong sense of pride out of the history of the sword, and will generally refuse to use any other.

    Law's Trust (MW Bastard Sword)
Sadly by now lost in time and vault crashes, this used to be Shane's sword before she actually started using Trivaenstel. Crafted and blessed by one of her closest friends, the Tyrean priest Bacelar Dion, it had her name engraved in the blade. He made it for her with the promise to not break his trust and use it for ill, after her old sword broke.

    MW Silver Dagger
Always worn to Shane's side, this dagger is a fine example of Dwarven craftsmanship, and seems to be part of a customary set of 2. The full set was gifted by Maythor to both herself and Bottesini for their wedding.
(Still kept for RP sake, this was a great gift RP wise knowing dwarves and the then so abundant lack of silver)

    MW Oak Longbow
As well a present for her wedding, Equinox gave Shane this bow with the words that it may always shoot as straight as she would would walk her own path. While Shane usually only employs bows for hunting, she always takes this one.

Boots of Striding (+1 AC, +1 CON)
Found on a bandit officer after some "bridge" fun with Kanen, and the main reason why Shane's shield has become suicidal.

Brooch of the Nightcrawler (Darkvision, Cold resist 5/-)
Another item reward during the whole Black Hand plots, this brooch was part of a small treasure found by the group, and given to Shane. She now uses it to keep her cloak fastened

    Ring of Resistance +2
Bought from a travelling merchant's stock.

For the rest Shane has a few more items that are or were more or less readily available in stores or drops.

  • Updated for history sake.

  • Long overdue, but… Updated

  • Name: Lars Dryden

    **Level Distribution:**Monk 4 / Rogue 1

    Position: None

Home: Everywhere and Nowhere. Usually sailing somewhere, though in his Narfell time he's often residing in the Gypsy Camp.

Time on Narf: since October 2003

    Worldly posessions:

    Lars's Clothes and Pants
Just a set of plain, customed clothes, with and without shirt. This is Lars's most prized possesion, his "good" clothes which he paid a randsom for to have them made on one of his travels to Waterdeep. In payment he gave a glittering necklace that was given to him by Kaywen to help him get over his fear of the dark. If there's anything Lars really hates, it's tearing up his clothes. By his own word (and for fact), it's all of noteable worth he really has.
