    A man sits perfectly still upon a high ledge over looking a vast valley, his legs are crossed and he sits straight up with perfect posture. His long stringy grey beard nearly lying in his lap. From behind a youthful man approaches, he stealthly approaches the sitting man, carefully avoiding anything that might give off the slightest sound. The youthful mans blue eyes fixed on the old mans back smiles slightly but is quickly caught off guard

    "Prepare to defend yourself'

    And with those words the old man is on his feet in Lightning quick fashion and rushing toward the younger sneak. He leads with a right left fist combination that the youth narrowly blocks and then attempts a sweep kick which the man tumbles from. The old man recovers from his flurry and smiles

    "you have been practicing I see"

    The youth then launches into a wild array of perfectly executed punches and kicks but the old man deftly dodges each as if the offensive push was nothing but a minor nuisance. And with that final block finds a way to reverse the kick and send the youth to the ground. In a second the youth is on his feet and just in time, as the old man unleashes his own array of punches and kicks, sending the youth onto the heels of his feet. the pair move so fluently, so gracfully that it resembles a dance. the fight goes on for many exchanges neither man seemingly giving up any ground, untill finally the older man while on the defensive feints a block and comes back with an impressive spin kick that catches the youth and knocks him to the ground, in a flash the old man is on the youth and goes in to finish him off

    "You have much to learn Kaz"

    The old man helps him up smiling

    "You have much to learn, but I fear there is nothing more I can teach you"

    "But Grandmaster, surely there is much I can still learn from one such yourself?"

    The grandmaster just smiles and responds

    "No Kaz, you must go off on your own, travel the world and find your own way, you have spent all your life honing your body, your mind, your spirit. it is time, you must find your own way now"

    "But where will I go"

    "West"

    And with those last words the grandmaster turned away from his student and fell back into his meditation, the youth stayed for but a moment before he returned to his room and packed up what little belongings he had and set forth for the west
