OOC: Graveyard Clarification
-
Last formal post on the Graveyard said it was offlimits and guarded and anyone entered was going to get chopped to little bits or something, nothing official has been posted since, does this still stand that the graveyard is guarded and offlimits, or did the post that it was open just get forgotten.
-
If you are included in that group, you know.
((lets chat about it IG))
-
@bc24b92fa1=Clan:
The graveyard is still off limits to everyone outside of Norwick Senior Management.
Just to clarify, who all are included in "Senior Management"?
-
another interesting idea.
I think we are fine as we are now.
Thanks.
-
have it locked with a key and give dwin and whoever he choose's a key to the graveyard?
-
i dont like the idea of using hostile NPC's.
there will be situations where we need to go in there, and it will be a pain to deal with.
I would rather that everyone RP's this as directed like we do elsewhere on the server when we know someone is there, whether we see them or not.
Sethan also brought up a good point via a PM. The graveyard is not necessarily closed due to the old Heyokarr plot. If you wnat to know more about it, please feel free to ask IG.
-
what about posting hostile gaurds inside the grave yard, were they cant fight the rats or anything and the skellitons dont come near the entreance eather, thoughts?
-
The graveyard is still off limits to everyone outside of Norwick Senior Management.
We cant IG post redcloak guards there because they will go off rat hunting all day, but you should absolutely be RP'ing that there are at least 2 guards stationed at the entrance at all times. Entering the graveyard would be considered a crime worthy of a fine and/or imprisonment depending on who you are, how much money you have, and the current mood of the Chancellor or Guard Commander.
-
The barrier is still there, as are the guards at the entrance. Nothing has changed since the quoted post.

Last Milita post said…..
@8498ee9770=Clan:
_Following the Walk of the Dead that interupted Fight Night (although, Fight Night was over when 2 dwarves, kicked some serious arse) and the brief conversation between the Chancellor and the Heyokarr warriors within the graveyard, Dwin and the other folks vacated the Graveyard.
Kara and Dwin spoke a bit, and then Norwick Guards were deployed at the Graveyard gates where they erected a barrier under the orders to not let anyone in, excepting any Heyokarr tribe members._
((Please take note, no one (banned or not) should be entering the graveyard via normal means, as they would be arrested/beat down first. Also, if someone did make it past the Norwick Guards, there is a large contingent of Featherlight warriors inside that would need to be dealt with.
I am fairly sure that this is not all IG due to resets, so consider this fair notice. (DM's and players alike)
Thanks!))
Can a senior Milita Member or Chancellor please confirm if this is still actually standing or the ban/guards have been withdrawn? Should be fairly obvious IC after all.

Yes and no. A big ceremony is a coming.
Some of the undead are Heyokarr spirits being called home. Only problem is becoming other forces are taking advantage of this lax defence and are beginning to up the ante, necromantically speaking.
So your best bet would be get word from one of the Milita of Norwick and ask if they are going to let the state worsen or can patrols and actions again be taken within the graveyard.
Just try to rp differences between the normal undead and obvious new incursions like the ghouls, ghasts and Orcus stuff.
