    When word of the fall of the temple of Lathander in Norwick reaches the ears of the devoted at King’s Reach in Impiltur, a council of clergy determines a need to send representatives to assess the situation. One of the people they select is the zealous young member of the faith Cyrik Relik.

    The Relik family has a checkered history within Impiltur and Cyric or some variation thereof, has been a family name for many generations. Cyrik’s father was a murderous man who was sentenced to death. Cyrik’s uncle was killed for practicing necromancy. Cyrik Relik’s early life suggested he might find a similar fate but following his father’s death he found refuge at the Church of Lathander. There was the one place he didn’t feel haunted by his family’s past deeds.

    As he matured within the Church, Cyrik became fanatical about the teachings of Dawn’s Lord. Senior church member were optimistic about his future and when the crisis of Narfell reach their ears they thought it was a grand opportunity for Cyric to further establish himself within the Church.

    Cyrik has is a good natured man who has suppressed most of the memories of his childhood and adolescence.
