Notice: Major Change

  • A major event occured in the Gypsy Camp that modified the way it operates. This occured Friday, October 22, 2004 approximately 730 est. (-5gmt).

The Gypsy King, Horgan Mearst, after taking control of his alcohol problem, accepted his rightful title to the joy of the Rom people.

Cyric worshipers, once thought to have vacated the area, were actually influencing some Rom in the hopes of gaining a foothold in the camp. Baba sent word to Horgan warning him to keep alert.

After a quick but deadly battle with the help of many Gaje, King Mearst and those gathered, claimed victory over the evil worshipers allowing few to escape to spread word that the camp cannot be taken over so easily.

The Rom and Oath Takers cheered their new king. King Mearst degreed that the camp will no longer require the advice from the Elders dissolving that title. Instead of taking advice from a select few, all suggestions will be listened to equally and weighed in the best interest of the camp.

When you enter the camp, you will see the severed heads of many Cyric worshipers that dared to bring harm to the camp and its people. They a reminder that all are welcomed as long as they have the best interest of the camp at heart.
