Rumors heard throughout Oscura.



  • *A group of adventurers, aswell as a few of Oscra's Noble familys members left the shiney coppers and head down to the docks, heading off in a ship called the seafareers wife.

    A day or so later they returned carrying what looks like lumps of metal. Rumours circulate about what happened, some say they went mineing, some say they found large golums. Some say they went to stop a war. Whatever the reason they returned relitivly safely*



  • Recently some fights were held at the Brawling Bodak, attracting many spectactors. Notable fights were between Vladimir Kursk and Antigonos Komnenos (Komnenos won), Thoth III Sakhmet and a Hook Horror summoned by Pyotr (Thoth III won) and between Duke Andrey Kursk and an outsider in Sisterhood colours with a greataxe, whom the Duke prompty defeated after she defeated Vladimir.



  • _Rumours spread of a group of men, half of them Grey Blades, came into Oscura baring the bloodied head of the traitor Wert Gravedigger upon a pike.

    Many commoners and even Maximilian Locke and Thoth III Sakhmet saw the spectacle, and there was much joy from the defeat of a traitor to Oscura._



  • Rumours spread around the taverns that a Northen Bear trading company caravan went missing on its way from Oscara.

    A group of adventurers led by two noble of Oscara, retrived the caravan and bought it back safley to oscara. Andrey Kursk met the adventurers at the west gate and rewarded them for the return of his goods.


  • Legion

    Rumors spread of a discovery deep in the duerger mines beneath Oscura of a teleportation device and the finding of the once thought extinct Slave trading Duerger clan led by some King. One women was said to be rescued by the name of gabrielle. The peacekeeper Sogar has been seen regularly talking in the bars about such incident claiming he and the others traveling with him popped the goblins and duerger like zits with their bare hands and relished in their blood….


  • Legion

    A new bald man, sometimes bloody is seen throughout oscura with frequency. His demeanor is calm and emotions seem pleasent. It is rumored he is the newest peacekeeper to join the ranks.



  • A few Northern immigrants and some sailors attend the summoning of Aurilites.



  • Word is spread in Oscura, that Norwick is building a shrine of Auril and that all Aurilians in nearby regions should immediately arrive to the town of Norwick and contact Frostmaiden's representative in Narfell, priestess Meye Spark.
    Apparently She claims of having personal mandate from the Frostmaiden to arrange such a calling.



  • A heavily armed patrol of Oscuran guards were seen leaving the West Gate. They came back not soon later, looking rather beat up, yet triumphant. The Priest on the patrol had an old looking piece of paper in his belt, and it was him whom the patrol surrounded.

    Herald hunts down Pyotr.



  • The well known Guard Wizard Pyotr magically popped up in the middle of the docks today, his robes tattered and him look rather beat up. He was quickly taken in by some guards, and has not been seen since.



  • In response to the latest incident, the Peacekeeper captain can be seen accompanying Gallows, or having a guard or other peacekeeper accompany him whenever he sets about the town.



  • It seems there was an attempt on Lord Gallows life in the Shiney Coppers recently. The attackers were undead spirits and demons, but they were soundly defeated by Gallows, Black Lotus guards, Oscuran guards and adventurers that happened to be present.



  • The right sized Sister in red, Marie, has been spending all of her time in Oscura since the recent trial of Arlinn. Sometimes sitting by herself, other times talking in hushed tones with the Captain of the Peacekeepers, or another Sister.

    Rumour has it she's waiting to speak with the prisoner, and is there to support her through her punishment.



  • Its seems a lot of Darey's components are missing, including the wyrmling that stirred up so much controversey. They have been replaced by a stirge, a fire beetle and a tiny beholder. No one is quite sure what happened to the last components…



  • _Rumour quickly spreads that Arlinn, the green mage, was seen being marched to the West Gate jails in shackles, led by Captain Senria.

    In other news, it seems there is an unusually high guard presence around The Grim Bottles as of late._



  • Rumors abound in the taverns and shady niches of the latest news from the topside. Such conversations can be heard about Oscura:
    _"Hmmm, Norwick has a bugbear king knocking at their door?"

    "Not just a king, but a whole army."

    "I don't have any like for hobbers or bugbears, but good riddance if they get rid of that hovel of dwarves."

    "Yes, anything is better than those annoying Dolvaks. From what I hear, this bugbear even allows you to wear helms wherever you want, or carry a torch!"

    "Yes, that sounds like a much better ruler to me. You think he can do it? Dwarves are stubborn."

    "They say that this bugbear king is actually invincible, blessed in battle so that he nae receives a single scratch!"

    "Hmm, well, guess this spells the end for the old Norwick."

    "Mmmmyes, Sounds like Norwick might be a decent place soon, hehehe."_



  • During one of her regular pub crawls across Oscura, Mercy is all news, confiding to any lowhanging ears that the Black Sails Cap'n, Sabre Seasaw, has rediscovered her lost twin - who according to the seasoaked seahag is called "Hootie McBoob". Born an identical seed of Seasaw's streetwalkin' mammy, Hootie is the dead spit of the better-known Sabre, but according to Mercy, is more athletic on account of her early life spent as a circus acrobat. Apparently, both sisters would be available to attend on paying customers for lecherous evenings at a reasonable price…



  • Recently an attack by ghosts and apparitions of all kinds was launched against the gate at the Raven Rift, killing many travelers and merchants whom were trying to flee. The hordes of vengeful spirits were held off by the Oscura Guard and the Banite Priest Quelcoth, until some adventurers showed up to finish them off. Nothing out of the ordinary was found.

    A bald man known as the Herald accosts the man outside the Keep. His normally emotionless expression has changed to one of pissed offness. He's obviously not exactly happy about something.
