A white haired woman dressed in icy white robe was seen arriving to the docks with boat. After that she has been spending some time in Oscura, apparently trying to find Mercy. In addition she tries to keep her eyes open for anyone that might carry symbols of Auril, Umberlee, Malar or Talos.
-
Resident dwarven priestess of Umberlee, Mercy, is spotted returning from the cave frequented by the kuo-toa, carrying under her arm what appears to be the severed head of a powerful, many-finned high priestess of the fishfolk. By the cracked grin on her craggy, sea-hardened visage, it appears that Mercy is altogether jolly with her new acquisition.

_Merovech, with more than a dozen of the Sisters of Bone, can be seen entering The Keep of the Fallen. They do not emerge for several hours and throughout this time, odd noises can be heard coming from both The Well of Souls and The Hell Mouth. All goes quiet, and the Sisters leave as quickly as they arrived.
Rumor circulates amongst the general populace, particularly in the West Gate region, that the undead attack was caused by the actions of the Legion.
In any case, the Sisters certainly seem none too pleased._

The captain of the peacekeepers can be seen trecking over and knocking on the new inquisitors door, many speculate to congratulate him on his new position. After stepping inside, the two emerge sometime later, the captain nearly dragging the pasty elf through Oscura and into The Stained Needle.
-
_Not long after the announcement, the new inquisitor Lucidious is seen rushing about the undercity … a mess of unkept robes and long tangled silvery hair, darting about various establishments seemingly at random.
Near the end of the day, the pasty elven wizard is seen talking at length with Menkhare at the docs. The two take up cups and drink for a time as they talk, the conversation continuing for nearly an hour. They end their conversation with quills upon parchment and a dainty handshake (... the handshake leaving Menkhare with a disturbed look upon his face, no doubt).
Finally, the inquisitor retires to a back room of the banshee, not emerging for several days...._

_"Night" time in the West Gate has become increasingly unsettling of late. The cries of babies, childish laughter, screams, soft footsteps, the sound of what many think to be the screech of buckling metal, and other unnerving sounds, can be heard from the direction of the Hell Mouth. Each sound is brief in and of itself, and they are spaced throughout the night at random intervals, but they sound in the late hours with ever-increasing certainty now.
As well, some adventurers - more than one party - returning from the caves have come into the Coppers raving that the rock formations in front of the Hell Mouth are bleeding._
-
Rumor has it that Drelan is an all powerful mage and has hidden this skill until recently when he and a group of adventurers appeared out of nowhere into the Oscura cemetery the other night.

After Sgruud has been brought back, something interesting happens. Sgruud receives heated words in orcish from Grak, and not just heated words.
In addition he also gets full whipping in public, standing still and not saying a word, until he can't stand on his feet. When he is able to stand again, he gets his new whip wounds tend by the healer and leaves Oscura together with Grak._

The aspect of the Well of Souls across the chasm in the West Gate District - named the Hell Mouth, by the freemen that live there - has been increasing in activity of late. More dangerous creatures have been appearing and the gate guards stand ever the more wary. Though the level of the Hell Mouth's activity has remained constant for years, something has clearly tipped the balance.

Local Guard priests and priests from the temple keep a careful eye on the waters as well as anyone coming from the North.
-
Rumors spread of water-borne diseases that may or may not affect Oscurans. Regardless, all water should be tested somehow, and new, lesser used waterworks should be noted. At least, only if you'd like the disease to stay in check.

Several hours later, the male hin emerges alone, and the rest of the party half an hour after that, looking incredibly beat up, one of them beaten to within an inch of her life.
