_After her return from her impromtu journey, it would seem that Kara has one again returned herself to Oscura, frequenting both the Shiney Coppers for relaxation and the ancient library to study the laws that bind and govern Oscura.
For the most part, she stays out of the way of the blooded in the city and minds her own business_

Along the main towns in the nars, all bards sing in the main inns, the tale of three adventurers that go about by the mighty warrior KULL, and the druids Sald and Belia for defending norwick from a possible undead attack. The bards sing about the bravery shown by both Sald and Belia for fighting dozens of undead minions and last but not least their chieftain, they sing about the epic will to resist all the temptions and offers of unlimited power offered by the very master of the undead

_Recently, three slaves, two men and a young woman, were found wandering around the docks aimlessly, their eyes darting around fearfully and their meager garments completely soaked.
They were quickly and quietly ushered away by a group of Lotus Brothers._

A huge half orc enters in Oscura by the front gate, he´s armed till the teeth and armored like a tank, helm on his head show through the opening a pair of red bright eyes that pierce through the dark streets. He means business…and looks like he´s seaching for someone

In the wake of the new murder investigations, two freed slaves are found dead in the West Gate district near the chasm. They were each put down with similar blade strokes - to the kidneys and heart. It would seem there are either no witnesses in this matter or none willing to come forward about what they've seen.

When news of the crewless Mulhorandi ship came out, the Rashma, and a few similarly clothed men from Mulhorand were the first at the scene. After securing their property, they were seen speaking with the Peace Keeper Ronan, then the city Guard, and shortly after, members of the Black Lotus and Sisters of Bone.

The white-haired and rather handsome Peacekeeper looks over the wreckage. With an annoyed look, he goes to ask some people a few questions…

_A mulhorandi slave ship drifted into the docks today, crashing into the bedrock of the port. Its hold was empty - shackles strewn about with broken pins. The deck was littered with the corpses of its crew, most of whom seem to have died with little resistance, but a few managed to draw their weapons.
Most showed puncture wounds to the kidneys or the heart or both - while others simply had their throats slashed. The select few who had managed to draw their weapons had experienced much less tasteful deaths. Major arteries were severed in the shoulder, wrist, or thigh._

_Zhentarim bruisers were seen storming around the city, squeezing every snitch, and pounding skulls against stone, looking for the responsible culprit. It got to the point where the city Guard was called in to quell their fury and escort the lot of them back to their ships on the docks.
The Zhentarim Admiral Milena was heard demanding an immediate investigation on the matter.
As a response to the trade effecting murders, several guards have been pulled from the Undercity and are now being used to double security on the docks.
Rumor has it, this was the work of an outsider._

_Three Zhentarim slavers were found murdered on their own ship in the docks with nary a sound was heard during the course of their demise - or at those who happened across the corpses are claiming. Half a dozen slaves were left unattended in the docks for quite some time before the mess was cleaned up and the slaves could be lead back to the holding pens for which they were originally intended.
Rumors abound in the Coppers that it was a professional job. Each victim had choice stab wounds in either of their kidneys - or both - and one in the heart. It's said that only one of the guards had time to reach for their blade at all…
While the Zhentarim guards involved were without recognition, the officer with them was known amongst many blooded as Captain Vargrim - infamous for his cruelty to slaves._

Rumour has it that adventurers brave or foolish enough to dare the trip past the well spawn and out into Kuo-toan territory might encounter things far worse than the standard beastly creatures of that area. Sightings of drow are mentioned by travellers, and in more hushed tones, the word "mind flayer".

Whispers are heard from the guards that the treasurer was seen by the gates of the north tower. Stories range from her suddenly appearing, to hordes of undead carrying her ceremoniously out the gate.
Regardless, it is said that the treasurer’s office is now open, with the treasurer seen frequently between her office, The Banshee, and The Shiny Coppers.

_Some of the patrons of the Coppers are getting a good laugh after Aelthas, The Romani Commander, who was visiting his Aunt Nicahh decided to sing to a hin woman that was rude to him. The sounds of it hurt most ears within the bar, the hin storming off several times in a fit, but Aelthas following her, still singing..
In the end, she gave Aelthas a 75 gold tip for his performance and left the Inn.. Aelthas enjoying the rest of his milk quietly by the fire as he waited for his Aunt Nicahh. A slight grin on his face._

Rumor spreads that minotaurs teleported into the city. The Sails are mentioned in connection with that. If it has anything to do with a recent boat trip some of their finest undertook, is as much speculation as what they did. Though that seems to focus mainly around turning people to stone since a pair of Sails was seen and heard inquiring about ways to undo such.

_While the wailing and howling from the North Keep continues to deprive many Oscuran's from their rest, rumors of increased activity are spreading about the West Gate.
Its seems the Well spawn are jumping at the opportunity to eat anyone trying to pass by this ominous portal.
Also, rumor has it the kuo-toa are slowly losing the territory war with the Well spawn over the sandy caves just outside the city._

A white haired woman with sickly pale skin was recently walking around Oscura, while few may recognise her, those who do would notice the unnatural feeling and icy chill that once emanated from the woman has now dissappeared.

_Day and night a terrible wailing can be heard from the Keep north of the city. Hundreds of voices scream out in agony from beyond those abandoned walls. Lights can be seen through the windows and shadows crawl on the walls within. The sounds of battle can be heard at times, and other times, mad-stricken howling.
Sleep comes hard to the blooded on these harrowing nights._
