Laws obsolette?

I read the laws of the tribunal and a one law says "outsiders are not allowed in the city unless accompanied by a blooded." Does this law still stand?

Its kind of funny really, Oscura is dark and scary and all, but with the banites gone, it doesn't really reek of EVIL anymore
Gone? Eh. Napping.

//Sorry, that was me beeing ooc evilness, will be sure to dictate that in future posts!

((Alright, this needs to be decided if its an OOC post or an IC. If its OOC, then the question is answered, and a DM should probably lock. Espicially since people are randomly using an IC forum to tout their OOC feelings towards a city.
If its IC, then the OOC comments need to be cut out or marked as such.))

would be very appropriate

Would threatening to throw them into the new execution place by the west gate be sufficient? I mean it is a place of fiery doom and destruciton…....
-
you can do your part to remove and discourage the outsiders from the undercity… i used to spit at people and curse their names... when guards weren't looking i'd trip and harass them.

Its kind of funny really, Oscura is dark and scary and all, but with the banites gone, it doesn't really reek of EVIL anymore, the place that still does though, is the cesspool of tyranny known as Peltarch. Peltarch reminds me of WalMart. It stands that non-blooded can only go into the undercity with a blooded, and yeahchris is right that non-blooded have no protection or rights within the city. Even if a fight was started by a blooded with a non-blooded, the blooded would still have far more rights, including protection from police forces such as guards and the PeaceKeepers.

I've been told by pcs that have been here longer, and have generally played it as though, even though non-blooded folks are technically allowed there they are not necessarily safe there alone. As they have essentially no legal protections under Oscuran law. I think that it would be a good idea to keep up this tradition. When people go to Oscura they should feel like it's dangerous; a little taboo.
Keeping this up might also force more people to go to Peltarch to buy their towershields and stuff.
Currently, with all the foot traffic Oscura seems to get, Peltarch would be a more suitable place to call the forgotten city.

Indeed, this law applies only to our undercity, and it is most assuredly not obsolete.

That's about the Undercity I think.
