Rumors of the Valley
-
Rumor spreads soon in the valley that Teli has died, and that she'll be buried soon by chauntea's altar in norwick…

@e1da44a7d8=Kallethen:
A familiar red-haired warrior is seen around the Valley, remarking how happy she is to see the town still thriving. Talyna Felf, the self-proclaimed Little Warrior, has returned.
Benji often stumbles when he sees her walking by

Benji returns from another long night of searching for Mattie. When he finds her returned safely he lets out a long, exasperated sigh with a smile.
<g>Good.</g>
-
An unseral sight appeared at the vally recently, a massive hulk of a half orc was seen sat quietly at the top of the vally stareing out over it, if any aporoch him he is plesent tenough yet he does not say why he is there if asked
-
A few days before, Councillor Theaon was seen giving the servant of Arvoreen a tour of the Valley and talking about some of its citizens and its history.
-
Benji eyes the newcomer looking him up an down for signs that he carries a crossbow.
-
Recently, a rather fervent devotee of Arvoreen has apparently taken up residence in the valley, spending most of his time in the vicinity of The Stout Fellow. While obviously lacking in actual combat experience, he is noticeably well trained.
-
<g>Holy shite!

The Silver Valley is abuzz with the news that dwarven priestess Telli killed Rass and harvested her hide for armour. Frem Gladdenstone the wandering bard told the amazing but true tale in Rhubarb's Inn last night. Word around the pumpkin patch this morning is that Telli hopped on Rass's back as she swooped low and fought the colossal beast in mid-air for three days straight until at dawn on the fourth day, she finally sliced through Rass's massive neck with a sacred scythe of Yondalla.
8O claps…
-
Theaon listens in on the story, then leaves the Valley in a hurry to find Telli.

Word spreads in the Silver Valley that a group of about 10 drow kidnapped Master Crafter Z and one of his apprentices outside of the Silver Valley. About 12 hours after it happened Z and his apprentice were safely returned to Norwick. Councillor Theaon is seen giving the Dragoons some blessings in case the drow decide to come back.
-
Benji and Sabre stroll into the Silver Valley caked in mud. After an extended stay at the baths they head their separate ways, Benji obviously having had more to drink than he's used to.
-
Marty of Peltarch has been spending a lot of time in the Valley lately. Most of her time seems to be spent speaking with horses and ponys however. She also examines the sturdiness of some of the carts in the town.
-
Benji makes a stop at Valley Vittles on his way through town. Some say he pointed to a corner table and handed the host a sizable bag of coins.

((
i'll check my logs, but I think thats exactly what he said… maybe we can get Araighn to chime in here... we would not have deployed them without that agreement.
))

@70e0d8fd97=Clan:
((maybe my misunderstanding… I thought that Theaon agreed to this...))
((Perhaps I misunderstood too, but I clearly remember him saying… "You can have guards in town, but they better not cause any trouble." Oh well.))

The Redcloaks go peacefully, saying they were only doing what they were told. They say they will report the message to their Commander and the Chancellor.
