    Morgul, paladim of Torm

    Morgul was found by a group of knights who had just defeated an orc tribe. He and his human mother were amongst the tribe's human serfs.

    When his mother died soon after, he was given to the local monastery to raise. The abbot of the monastery doubted he could ever join the order, until one day he witnessed the other orphans and boy acolytes bullying the young Morgul. He stoicly bore this treatment, until one young noble with more titles than sense, drew a sword and swung it. Morgul knocked him senseless with one blow, then walked off.

    Morgul tries to see the good in all species, because of the way he has oft been misjudged due to his own heritage. Those who do not raise a blade against him, or against the defensless, are safe from Morgul. He will in his simple words try to pass on the wisdom he has learned growing up with the knights and priests of Torm.
