    Character: Tamorina Filoman

Tamorina was born and raised in the Essembra, Battledale, to a hard working and simple family of craftsmen. More adventurous and less hard content to sit at home than her parents, Tamorina joined the miltia at a very young age and was always willing to help protect her town from the various raiding forces or beasts that, while not the norm, were not unheard of in their town. Though her parents did not necessarily approve of her adventurous tendencies, they accepted her lifestyle with a nod and smile. Tamorina, after all, was their prized only daughter, and it was she who was going to be responsible for the continuation of the family trade.
Tamorina definately did enjoy woodworking, though her style went a bit against the grain. Her works were always a bit flashy or innovative, and she more than once has surprised her family by decorating the most mundane items of furniture with battle-scenes or inlays that seemed more free-form and less like the simple, symmetric professionalism that marked the Habercorn line.
She fell in love with the local shoemaker, and they got married at the somewhat young age of 19. Her family was happy for her, and the newlyweds moved into their own house, a small cottage less than a mile away. Erik Filoman was a good natured, hard-working man who worshipped Gond with served him with a religious love and devotion that surpassed most of the inhabitands of Essembra. Through their marriage, Tamorina found her faith as well, and they spent the first part of their marriage in simple happiness.
A bit over a year later, a large Drow raiding party came out of Cormanthor and attacked Battledale in one of the fiercest attacks there's been in years. The Lord's Men army fought valiantly, with Tamorina among the front line archers, but they were not able to hold back the force completely. Though it eventually was a victory, it was a bitter one for Tamora, for among the simple townsfolk who grabbed their unused swords andwent out to protect the town was her husband, who died without glory and without ceremony as the drow as the winter sunrise revealed the bloody scene.
Tamorina was a strong woman who did not delude herself with guilt or fall stricken with depression, rather, she joined the Gondar temple there and found consolation and solace in her faith.
As much as she came to grow and learn the ways of her deity, the lack of excitement bored her. Erik had told her of innovation and new ideas, and this temple focused much on Gond's lordship over crafts, and she did not think that this was her way of serving Gond, not the way her husband would have wanted.
The Gondar were very understanding, and suggested that she travel east to Narfell, where a product was being undertaken to build a Gondar temple. There, she would search out the man Dentin and continue her training as a cleric under his apprenticeship. You won't likely hear this widow talk about her bitter past, as she prefers to put it behind her and look only forward, with a willingness to sanctify the memory of her husband and to embrace the faith that her husband clung to to his dying day.
