Login: JonNwNVirgil was born to a wealthy family near the far reaches of Baulder's Gate. This wealth, coming from less than legal means, soon lead to a power struggle between his family and other powerful crime symdicates. When he reached his tenth birthday, his household was attacked in a swift joint coup involving many other families. His house hold under attack, Virgil was forced to flee with his sister, Ariel, onto the streets. Within a day, both were seperated, and Virgil has since heard no more of her.
As time went on, Virgil took quickly to the hard life of the streets, killing his first man at the age of twelve over a gambling debt. He quickly rose to power among the street urchins and thugs, carving out a harsh, controlling power base over the area of a few blocks, using his uncanny knack for understanding people's fobiles and well timed knifed blows.
His ability to keep himself alive and control such a large area of city slums attracted the attention of a powerful and prominet crime guild, and he was approached at the age of fourteen by a representative. Virgil, seeing this as an excellent opportunity to gain power, threw aside his slum territory and went with the man.
At the guild, Virgil knowlege of people's whims and fobiles was put to use, and he was trained to brutally torture pepole whom the guild had kidnapped, and to ask questions to the right people in such a manner as to reach the desired answers. Virgil soon began to take a perverse pleasure in the act of torture, and was given no end of enjoyment from the screams of others.
When he reached his mid-twenties, a power struggle began to take place internally within the guild. Sensing the blood of a coup on the air, Virgil wisely decided to pack up some of his more convienient interrogation tools and a few other meager belongings, and fled the city.
For a few years, Virgil drifted from city to city, find work with various employers that required of his specific skill set. He has now foudn his way to the area of Narfell, hoping to find a ghost from his past that also fled the guild.
